Jem'Hadar Set - Feedback

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
Just a short post of feedback on the new Jem'Hadar set that's coming in to play with this latest feature episode.

Obviously I'm aware that it's a three piece set (if memory serves it was the PSG, Armor and Weapon, much like the STF sets) and while I welcome this new set I have one minor niggle.

The latest mission lets us choose either a Jem'Hadar pistol or a Full Auto Rifle, yet the set only recognises the Full Auto to give bonuses. Is there any chance we could see the set also validate the pistol as an option please?

worst way for them to basically tell us what the rest of the rewards are going to be.

To me the Jem'Haddar set is a nice alternative to the STF Omega set. But at the same time does it make it too good?

    .5 Missions
    -3 piece set

    >/= 2 items undisclosed.

At least two rewards are undisclosed (plus the fact that most of this week's rewards were not part of said sets).

I'd say a Kartakin is a safe bet.

am I the only one that noticed how oddly oversized the rifle is? they were alot smaller in DS9. they're also missing that rather odd bayonet on the end

It's like the Breen set all over again.

Well, we don't actually know if it is a good alternative because we haven't seen all of the stats, have we?

Also, if it's a good alternative then it's not too good. If it's a better option then it's too good.

If everyone has it, what advantage would it offer anyway?

The Full stats if the set, no.

But we already know the Jem'Haddar set's abilities are: A cloak along with a healing and damage reduction ability. Then of course these new consumables that augment the set.

Until we know the specifics though it's kind of meaningless. I mean, the Liberated Borg and Trill technically have a "healing" ability, and so do a lot of the non-set armours. Their effect is pretty minimal, and honestly even when you have it you generally don't notice it. If the set ability is on a par with that then it's basically worthless. And while the Tactical stealth option is good, that's mostly because of how it works with other abilities, and we don't know if the same will apply for the Jem'hadar shrouding.

So really all we know that this has of worth is some fancy batteries to go with a decent, but not great, gun.

I would love to see one of the rewards to be the personal cloak that would be awsome
