Is it just me, or does the S'taass VO in the new FE remind you of Cobra Commander like it does me?

No idea. However, I do love how his voice is not fully processed through the universal

translator so it's an English/Gorn hybrid in the voiceover. Just like Slar from ENT :D.

    COBRAAAAA !!!! :D

BTW , the voice-actor who voiced Cobra Commander / Starscream did actually appear in Star Trek (in several roles) -- the most well known was : "We look for things . Things that make us go ." ;)

Now to leave you with a cool CC vid :)

It seems to me they pulled the sound of the Gorn voice directly from TOS's "Arena." It was a nice touch. I loved listening to him.

I wish they'd disable or at least truncate the standard flag officer emote sequence- it looks absolutely ridiculous, especially when S'tass is doing it.

S'taass sounded more like Morgan Freeman after he ate my Security Officer, a sexy, scaly Morgan Freeman.

I thought the exact same thing when he spoke.

I also had a Cobra Commander flashback when he started speaking. It was awesome.

Is this the first time we've heard a Gorn speak?

It reminds me of the voice I did when I read a Gorn part on Broadcast UGC. So it's just how I pictured it.

Okay, here's the voice I've been doing for Gorn. I think the actor made some very similar choices to what I've been doing:

In turn, this is my impression of Chris Latta (granted, his Starscream was lighter):

I was going to say that exactly... a really nice touch.
