Craziest place you've played STO from?

So I just tried to do an STF from my plane seat, 34,000 feet over the Midwest USA. Yeah, it didn't work out too well ;). DOFF management was a breeze though, but the lag spikes kinda made it hard to do anything else. 1400ms ping will do that.

So what's the craziest place you've played Star Trek Online from, Ten Forward?

Craziest for me isn't so much where, but conditions of the location:

3X,000ft over US en-route on domestic leg of flights to + from Vegas, with a row to myself xD

best $ I spent on travel ever! (shame there wasn't all that much to do...)

i did it at 38000 feet already, knowing that because i am actually working for an airline but thats not the craziest place.. the craziest place in my opinion was phi phi island in thailand on the beach :) internet wasnt that fast as well but i could at least manage my DOFFs.

    phi phi: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&cp=6&gs_id=10&xhr=t&q=phi+phi+island&safe=off&gs_upl=&um=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1920&bih=892&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=vi&ei=faA2T73-E87Jswbq5tm4DA

Without giving too many details as that would involve an infraction.... at my mothers place on Christmas after everyone else had left and she had gone to bed on my laptop (I had had a few drinks so I couldn't drive, and by a few I mean a l lot), with my girlfriend.... yes.

    It was a good night.

I played briefly when I was between apartments, crashing with family while waiting for grad school.

Craziest place though was from my iPad, streaming control from my desktop.

In my apartment, it's pretty playable that way.

Over the internet, long distance... I could maybe get by with some DOff or exchange management. Enh.

Good grief; how did that go? I never even considered trying with some kind of remote app. I can just picture the frame rates...

So the game is so good it can even stop wars? (Well pause them is more correct but whatever. Wait I got more!)

Unless of course the plane in questions has free wifi connection.
Aspiring unicorns aside and all that... But that is beside the point, no? :p

Ah the marvels of technology. It lets me kill flying sea worms(It's not a snake I can assure you) while on the toilet. (Not that I ever done this... Yes I have.)

Probably the wierdest was on my laptop at school conected to the smartboard projector, was quite cool playing ti on such a large screen. Also played TOR on it as well.

FPS games are really fun to play on a smartboard as well, using the smartpen means you can get headshots everytime, althoguh you need 2 people to play it effectivly, lol :-P

Well, Kinda a Long story, but...

I was running Infected, (Pre S3) and there was a nasty storm brewing...

I think somewhere in the middle of taking the gate down, my power cuts out.

So there I am, bathed on the glow of my 24" monitor, (thank goodness for battery back-ups) and I tell my buddies, "Umm, this could get interesting, I just lost power."

A couple of minutes later, the power came back, and I run back up to my room, grab my laptop and mouse. On the way back down to the basement, I have a facepalm moment, and grab a flashlight.

Another 5 minutes or so go buy, and the power goes out again. I'm watching the display on my battery backup, and prepare for the worst. (I boot up the laptop.)

I was pretty sure that if I logged in on the laptop, I'd still be on the infected map with my team, but wasn't positive about that... so I was holding out on the desktop But I started the STO patcher on the laptop just to be sure.

Sure enough, in the middle of the fight with Ogen, the battery gives out. I log in to the laptop, and fortunately, the team waited to lower the shield, (or else I'd probably have been stuck,) and I ended up finishing the mission, in the dark, sprawled on the floor with my laptop.

I think Starfleet Corps of Engineers just sent you a commendation there.
