LOL! I have no idea how this is happening. Did anyone happen to file a bug report when they saw it? If so, please reply here and let me know what the ticket number is. If not, please let me know as many details as possible so I can let QA know.
Also, if this is just a joke and someone altered the picture, let me know too lol I can't tell haha
Well on ground mission the lock box is quite big and floating in mid air so im guessing drops in space that is just a drop box look like that when you blow enemies up perhaps instead of the normal yellow diamond thing for drops.

Brandon i dont think its a ship just a drop lol.
Oh, hmmm. When I was playing last night, I saw it dropping in the normal gold "loot barrels".
Actually, that is how a Lock Box looks in space and on ground. Big floating box.
I had a Lock Box drop from a destroyed cloaking mine and from a destroyed incoming Heavy Torpedo. I was wondering why boxes started appearing around my Reman foes.
Did the Cardies get a Bureau of Practical Jokers or something? I'd jump on to try and get one just for grins...if not for the daggers of flame that would surely jump out from my wife's eyes...
(Obviously, my wife is not a Trekkie/Trekker. Star Trek related statements to her get met with "huh?" She has professed that her sole knowledge of Trek is "Beam me up, Scotty!!" )
when they drop in space(when separate from a loot bag), they show up as the box floating in space instead of the yellow diamond. It's almost like you didn't test this new addition ...

the entire time we were worried about the Romulans experimenting with Borg tech and it was the Vipers the whole time! :P
I KNEW something like this would happen!
I'm staying on Risa till this latest threat is over. I'm not fighting more cubes this year.
The only thing that would be more awesome would be to write in Cardassian on the side of it, 'TRANSMOGRIFIER.'
Gul Spiff to the rescue!
"See? We are borg too! Nothing threatening here."

Brandon i dont think its a ship just a drop lol.
I saw "spawn" in with a Borg probe during my last Infected Space run.
when flying close to it, it reacted similar to a how loot drop reacts and it contained, believe it or not, a cardassian lock box.
hope this helps

i was playing the cure and saw the same thing, when you shoot down the carriers spam at the end little boxes were appearing quite frequently.

This is just their way of dangling the preverbial carrot in front of all our faces.
Im surprised they didnt add a giant flashing arrow to point to it.
Can this get anymore tacky? Why not just put a homeless guy with a sign that says, Will work for money and be done with it.
Possibly it was included in the changes that were applied this morning?
Today, they were in their own floating 'lifesize' boxes.
Tomorrow, they will be appearing inside my morning cereal.
I expect they will have replaced most of my atomic structure by Sunday.
Tuesday. Apparently Tuesday is the magic day in Star Trek.
"Cool! A free ship! Now who should I take with me...?"
I'm on a ship! I'm on a ship!
Everybody look at me 'cause I'm flyin' in a ship!
Hey, Gul Madred, can you see me now,
Flyin' a Galor off your starboard bow....
... too obscure?
Too brilliant.
