Would really, really love an option to turn these announcements off. Yes, I'm sure the people unlocking the Galor are very happy about it, but I really don't need to be informed every time it happens.
I don't post much in the forums, but I really can't help myself here.
These Galor messages are really pretty bad. I really don't want to log back into the game. And I have absolutely no intention of logging in this weekend when (I can only imagine) I'll be confronted by a wall of these awful things.
It's sad to say, after looking forward to new content for so long, I'm willing to give it up for a little peace and quiet.
I also have absolutely no intention of spending another dime in the C-store until these messages stop.
I'm assuming this is WAI... but it's also BS. Personally, I just decided to bug them with their bugging me...

It is kind of annoying. Just turn off "System" in the chat options, and move the Notification bar in the Rearrange HUD to a spot where it's not as noticable.

There is only one thing that could possibly be of use in these packs to me as I exclusively fly escorts and that is the universal console, and I don't even want it. I couldn't properly use a cruiser of any sort as I never put even 1 point into my threat level.
That said, I do not like seeing this system spam, I would like you to do 1 or both of the following:
1. Change the color of the text so it does not look like the important messages I do need to read, so I can notice the stuff I do need to read and not ignore it because I am jaded to it.
2. Give me the option to disable this message, I know I can disable this TYPE of message, but I do not want to disable all messages, just the one about other players receiving their whatever they got message.
You will never make me jealous enough to do something irrational, that is a game for the young and impressionable. I came to this game to get away from this style of marketing, I would not be averse to go elsewhere to find a more subtle behaviour. Please don't act like the other guys on the block. They aren't "cool" and acting like them will make you not "cool" too.

Honestly. Now that it's F2P the only numbers that matter are online numbers.
I don't have time to play until Sunday, so here's hoping it's hotfixed out by then, with a polite "oopsie! crossed wires!"

I don't think I am (I'm just giggling as all heck at this) We're just asking you to please turn off the system messages announcing the Galor. Pretty please? Pretty please with root beer?
ETA: I mean, yes, Heretic said that feedback would be considered based on feasibility and coincidence with your business model, but how does this help your business model? Can we at least get an answer to that if we're going to see X@Y got a Galor! all the time?
ETA2: Guys, please reality-check me here. Am I being offensive in asking for this? Unreasonable? Rage-y? Negative? I'd like to know, in case what a lot of us are asking for could be considered unreasonable or just a rage-post.
