Regarding this new Lock Box lottery:
I think it's a brilliant idea to increase microtransactions. Any f2p game needs something to stimulate microtransactions in order to make money.
However, it's unfortunate that it involves the crossing up of faction gear. That's detrimental to the game.
It just makes me wonder if we're dealing with people who care about the game (independently from making money) or are we dealing with folks that resemble Bain Corp? You know, those who acquire simply to squeeze the juice, then toss & move on?
There many ways to make a buck - innovation and creativity are crucial, and although they're being used, I wonder, to what end?
