Why are threads protesting some of the new changes getting moved?

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
Why?

Are we not allowed to voice our concerns, nor protest changes we don't like anymore?

Why are they getting moved to and buried in other threads or sub-Forums?

??????

Is this what it's like to live under a Communist Regime?

??????

Cause I don't like it! I'm a lifetime member. Have been since the game launched, I've easily spent at least 6 or 7 hundred dollars on this game in the past two years, if not more.

Am I not allowed to voice my displeasure anymore?

Actually they are getting merged with others.

It's simply to keep the boards clean and on topic.

The alternative is that they are closed, locked and deleted.

I can understand that. But they are being consolidated into threads that have no bearing on what the topic of moved thread was about. It's almost as if they are trying to hide their dirty laundry, by pushing it outta sight.

Personally I think it is making you stronger, and the discussion more steamlined.

Think about it... theres what? 50 posts rageing with 2-5 people in each about the lockboxes... Merged together theres 1 post with perhaps 25 - 30 people rageing...

    Strength in numbers.

They may seem a bit jumbled in the beginngin, but they will very shortly take the same direction... If anything this served to make Cryptic weaker.

I see what you mean... It feels like they are putting you in a room with alot of other people who also try to get their opinion across... You voice is still there, it just dissapears... Kinda like the borg "buzz".

We try and merge threads into one super thread because it keeps the discussion in one place. As for moving threads elsewhere, they're moved because they belong there :p (Please note: I have no idea who's moved what, when where or what you're talking about =P I'm talking generally)

though think of it this way -- Having all your voices in 1 thread actually HELPS get the point across. It really does as developers, exec's etc can read just 1 spot, not 50 threads scattered allover the place. :)

However, as this thread is discussing moderation it's gotta be closed sorry.
