Hmm, so we have no patch tomorrow? Strange.

Given that the Cardassian Lock Boxes and the new Haggle DOFF missions are live tomorrow, there almost certainly has to be a patch.

unlocking C-store consoles for all hull types?! you've got to be kidding?! the birds of prey will now use Shield wall en masse to isolate vessels, use the anti shield gas to drain them and then cloak after they've violently murdered their target and let the cool down happen in safety.... uhg.... nightmare ensues...

My guess is the topic title is a typo, if thats what your going by. The date listed in the post is for tommorow.

Sorry, this is a running "joke". The OP is a known cut and paster of messages between CO and STO, they forget to change things for the other game sometimes, like they did with this post. We got a copy of CO's post with just the name changed and no mention of the well know patch for tomorrow.

    Ahh, I see....

In their defense, this is the first time in awhile that I remember them doing it. :D

I appreciate the humor in the release notes. Glad someone(s) at Cryptic still have a sense of fun.

Ahh well, he sneakily changed the title now anyways.... ;)

Maybe if I point out that the Klingons need more missions, he'll sneakily update that too? :D

I still hope that this part of the release notes is a bad joke:
''•Updated all the ship consoles, tier 4 and below, that come on C-Store ships so they no longer are restricted by ship class.''
Because if it isn't we have a problem. I'm not talking about big imbalance between clases, because I don't see such a thing happening. The problem I have is with the trekness of it.

Will this apply to shuttles as well?

As it has been stated numerous times, it's just an automated thing that puts the posts in here, and on their launchers. As such it puts the date in the topic that it currently is.

Sometimes they remember to edit the thread, sometimes they woopsie and forget XD

So, the Photonic Displacement thing was supposed to be universal for all ships ... how about impulse burst and the cruiser Lt. Commander cunsole?

So I can now take all my uber KDF consoles that worked only on raiders and raptors and stick them on my bortaS. ... WOW.

Feds are gonna scream when I activate the one that lets me pop up on their aft quarter instantly with cannons locked on the Qu'In 'an bortaS.

If you survive or your friends come to help ... I can pop up that super shield in space to protect myself.

Being semi-automated does not justify how often it is a bad cut and paste. And the date is not the complaint (at least not mine), the wrong information (STO is not CO and vice versa) or lacking information (the lack of a mention of a patch in this one) are the complaints.

Yea either the construction team was cutting corners and they were using shoddy materials or something broke the floor. Maybe too many tribbles or they were storing our new Lock boxes there.

ALL tier 1-4 consoles. That's what the notes say.

Actually ... They fixed it by putting all the new locked boxes under the flooring to sure it up.

So when enough people have opened enough boxes, the floor will give out again as the support will be gone. :D

    Thanks Dev's.

People have been saying for 2 years now BOP's are OP. They were wrong until today. I can't imagine the slaugther when BOP's get use all the sweetness klingon consols have to offer.

Whoever came up with the idea was a real genius. Like that would change the way money is spent on the c-store. OP KDF Side now will burn the Feds in PVP.

::: laughs ... You say that about the BoP.

Just imagine a bortaS armed with all that goodness!

Seriously ... BoP has a weak hull strength.

bortaS is as slow as a cow. ... The more regular console slots they fill up with these U-consoles ... the easier it is to kill either.

extra hour added now for verification? why dont the factor this in and always add one hour more than they think they need ! is it me or would it be better to get servers back online 1 hour early than 1 hour late ! just a thought
