Interiors were not a part of the original plan. People wanted bridges and interiors so they were tacked on so you could go inside more or less for RP purposes. We HAVE been asking for stuff to be done with them and so far the only real thing was being able to switch to your shuttle if you want. Eventually there is supposed to be an actual shuttle bay added and there have been many rumors of functions or mini games being added but they have been marked as low priority.
One thing folks have wanted most is the ability to set the default uniforms to what you use for your crew, for those of us that actually change our crew uniforms.:)
Cracked rib, strained muscle... Better head back to Starbase. We can't handle such cases onboard the ship...
Actually, have you noticed that no matter how many injuries you have when you beam back to your ship (after finishing the mission, STF, etc) you will only have 1 left.
They really need to add function to a ship interior but well its not a high priority things. Really iyt would be nice if your doc could heal your wounds, your engineer could fix your ship, your quarters replicator could make you new clothes
I don't understand why this is not the case, all of this could simply cost EC
DStahl, the former Executive Producer, talked about having a (working) shuttlebay, having at least some crafting available on your ship, and a functional sickbay. But I figure all of that got tossed out with him.

Maybe adding a timed debuff of sorts, while the injury is treated in the sickbay? Bruised ribs, 3 hour debuff. Broken face, 24 hour defuff.
Just a thought.
