Do we really have to ask for release notes EVERY time that a small patch/maintenance is done?
I wouldnt say anything normally, but when you say this:

We will be bringing down the shard on Saturday, February 4th from 7:00AM to 8:00AM Pacific Time (1500 to 1600 UTC) in order to perform maintenance and apply a new patch. We will provide an update when the maintenance is complete.
I would like some actual notes at that point. If you are not going to post any notes, don't say that you will post notes. It makes you look bad, and that is something you don't need right now.

Technically backend patches mostly "just change the version number" on the client, but several countries where STO is sold require software providers to inform the user of all software changes installed on the client... including version updates.
So while they kinda not change anything locally, they are in fact required to provide information of just the change of version number...
While denmark is one of thoose contries, I don't really care about minor changes, but it would be nice.
If it's a backend patch, I don't care a whole lot. It's when they say that they will give us notes, and then not deliver any, that is what bugs me. This applies to back or front end patches. Don't overpromise and underdeliver.
Getting patch notes is just a pleasant surprise to me.
(Yes I am capable of saying negative things about the game if anyone was wondering. I just don't see the point in it. See it as a pleasant surprise.
