The ships in our game are scaled properly in regards to each other. I haven't measured the NX specifically, but everything else I've measure has been within a couple meters of it's canonical dimensions.
I'm still very much on the fence with regards to the Odyssey class (in more ways than one) but it's nice to see the Alpha and the Omega like that.
...And Suricata, I completely agree. I might not be a fan of the Ambassador, but it doesn't seem right to have the NX, Nil, A, B, D, E and indeed F in the game without the C. It'd make a fantastic 'legacy' screenshot.
(And Cryptic, really... Think about that for a second. Who doesn't want to market a game with a gratuitous and glorious screenshot that suggests you can fly every Enterprise ever made? )

in that case, they'd have to include the space shuttle Enterprise..
and i demand it be a T5+1 ship with a "debris field" console that causes the bay doors to open and dump out thousands of pieces of ancient orbital junk, causing many small hits to shields and hull!
and thats a JOKE.. anyone thinks i'm serious about that needs to relax some..
Would be nice to have the C included however, but its limited screentime (one episode i think?) compared to other Enterprise models does kind of explain why its not been a priority to get in-game.

Well, except for those ships which don't have fixed dimensions on screen *cough*Defiant*cough*...

One might say the same of the Enterprise-B variant of the Excelsior. It was seen for the first 15 minutes of Generations, and then never again.
If it's named "Enterprise", it would seem to me that it should be in the game - irrespective of how much it was seen on screen.

Especially with the XCV 330! Would love to feel the power of that Warp 2 Engine!
Ok, you raise valid points sir. Cryptic? You hear that? You even think about adding NCC-1701-J to this game and I will personally fly to Los Gatos and take large magnets to the hard drives of your art team.

aha! thought that'd come up, which is why i specifically said "model"..
the B was an excelsior class, the model/class is seen in The search for Spock, the undiscovered country, Generations and various TNG and DS9 episodes, as well as one VOY episode too.. the ship model that the Enterprise B belonged to had a lot more screen time than the Ambassader class Enterprise C, so has more referance shots, exposure and fans.
not that the C doesnt deserve to be in the game, it should be. My point was that all the others had plenty of screentime, as Enterprise's or other ships. (the only ones without a series/multiple films were the B and C) and the C didnt.

Well, indeed. But again, that's also why I said "Variant". They went to the trouble creating the art assets *specifcally* for the Enterprise-B, so I guess I'm sort of wondering why the Ambassador wasn't included as an alternative skin for say... the T4 Exploration Cruiser.
(God only knows it would look better than that piece of junk Envoy class!)

They can't as the Ambassador class is about 3/4 the size of the Galaxy. As it's own ship, it'd probably fit in at T4, but definitely not as a skin for the existing T4 cruisers. There's also the fact that the Ambassador and Galaxy classes had very different roles.
To the OP, that is a cool screenshot. Like others, I do hope we get the Ent-C soon(tm).

I'm the one in in the NX
I was flying around Klingon Scout Force and suddenly saw my shadow on a large grey planet.
Wait... that's no planet.... A big Odyssey just happened to pull up next to me
Thanks
To Suricata; That would be an epic screen!
The model isn't a bad looking ship.
 That I would like to see....
Actually, I'd say the NX is a bit bigger than it should be - though scaling is TRIBBLE for a lot of ships in STO.

Except the J
and OV-101 Enterprise
nor the XCV 330

All current models of the Enterprise (in STO), need to be present and taken in pic.
Whose up for that? (annd needs to be done now, before the BIg O returns to Drydock)
Even with missing ones, it would still be epic.

Oh, Snap.
Meh, I can't wait to fly this around!

Well, send us back to fix the timeline that Chekov messed up and that Starfleet only recently found out about...
