I believe this patch was some system tweaking. So unless you have an interest in the intricacies of database management, there's nothing to post. The 100MB may just be a complete rewrite of one of the core game files. It may just be simpler to overwrite the existing file than to patch it.
Though, to be honest, I've been pleased with the way the server has handled the increased load.
A shot in the dark, but perhaps yesterday's Tribble Patch could provide a clue:
i saw that the generator went back to 35% kinda dumb that it's still going to back to using system skill, but if they make it the same bonus then i'll be happy.
The two are not mutually exclusive. Yes it was a bug, but Cryptic was aware of it before the patch went live. And it's still in Cryptic's power to do something in order to keep their original promise. Just some sort of dev response on the issue would be great, but they are in full avoidance mode.

Not that I'm a Dev, but the fact that it only affected some people and not everyone (as others reported their consoles still in place) makes me think they might have thought the bug was locked down.
Of course, I'm more than willing to whip up some more tinfoil hats.

Apparently from what I've gleaned from other threads. They broke Auto-Fire, not surprisingly. Other than that I don't know what was done.

guess thats all it was. thanks
UPDATE; Quantam Slipstream back to normal (sector space use only), FG 35% bonus is returned. AutoFire is NOT working, spacebar pushing is back
UDPATE:A player's sugguested fix for Autofire
and i think it was the odyssey that broke it with their newfangled Advanced Slipstream Drive.
Hehehe, it was fun while it lasted.
Cheers,

Probably a look into the C-Store Version complete with Saucer Separation and the Auxuiliary Craft added to the mix.
Just wish this thing had an "Advanced RCS Accelerator" special console that made it turn faster, so I didn't have to load it up with 4 Mk xii's
Fixed that for you.
