Do not down load this game from PWE my malwarebytes picked up a Trojan.phobiq virus from it and my anti male ware is set on normal level do not download this game from PWE.
Actually it happens. One of the MMOs I played for years used to get labeled a trojan horse once a year. I called first the games producer and then I called AVG and both confirmed that antivirus can and does get confused once and again.
You use another product but the behavior can still happen there as well.
Don't play it for a while. Wait for a Malewarebytes update about a week from now, (should be less time than that, was usually three days for me), then check again. Trojan should be gone.
If it has a virus then it has been compromised i will not down load it again i can tell what a false positive is i have been building computers for 15 years now.I file Shredded itand deleted the all of the REG and did another scan and its gone.

I have been blowing up computer for about 5 years now and I know that F2P games sometimes uses anti-cheat software that gives off enough false positives to celebrate new years eve.
It's generally the anti-cheat/download software that most anti-malware/virus/etc programs consider to be trojans and such.
Gameguard? Yup. False positives there.
Pando media booster? Don't even go there. There is a reason people tend to boycott games using it.

Cool I built mt first PC back in 1997. Though, while I have removed some viruses by hand, I hardly feel that my amateur PC assembly skills to qualify me as a virus specialist. You are better than I and I tip my hat to you. Still I would call customer support and verify my conclusions before I start threads that could be considered malicious.
I have been working on computers since 1981 and I'm not saying to ignore virus warnings, but it's not uncommon to get false positives from software even from trusted sites. With the heuristic pattern algorithms used in todays AV software you get even more false positives now than ever before.
It could be something as simple as a propriatary piece of download software used by the developer to deliver these large files to your computer that trigger a malicious software warning.
I haven't downloaded this particular game you're referring to, but I have downloaded several PW titles and I've NEVER gotten a virus from one of them.
The main worry with any malicious program that does make it on to your system is loss of personal files you don't have backed up, or theft of personal information (usually from a keylogger). As far as your PC goes, there's really nothing a virus can do to your system that a hard drive wipe and OS reinstall can't recover from.
Viruses are bad, they're not the end of the world.
I all ready Searched the net for this virus and I looked around again and seems that i still think its a virus But i am going too reinstall and try too scan it again. And i got it Directly from the site.

This is especially true with new viruses. A few minutes with google, looks like phobiq was first found only a few days ago, and right now only a few detection programs are picking it up at all, and they're getting false positives all over the place. Same detection is showing up in a couple facebook games, Microsoft Security Essentials, EA's Steam knockoff, and a bunch of free MMOs patchers.
Whenever a new false positive comes up, it's always programs with automated downloaders that get it. Emisoft's site is showing true detection rates as low as 17% on this one, too.

Also you might want to post this on the games forum and not here on the STO board?
