......Someone swears at you in Klingon and you understand what they said.......
I remember way back when I was taken by The Original Series came on TV (I was 14 years old). Within a few months I had all the plastic models available. I had the Enterprise, Klingon Battle Cruisers, Warbirds (Both Klingons and Romulan) hanging from the ceiling.(My parents were in heaven because I would do anything to get them) I had a TOS Shuttlecraft and Kirk,Spock and McCoy action figures next to it. The walls had multiple posters showing all kinds of scenes from various episodes.
Some of my friends were envious, but I got quite a few people who saw this 'shine' state "Look its the natural Nerd Habitat"
But those were the days. Be proud of you Geeky Nerdness. (Still am today, but very old and with 4 computers)
Using cardboard lightsabers to re-enact parts of Return of the Jedi, while crossing a bridge during rush hour, so all those drivers could see what we were doing (and enjoy the show since it was rush hour and they couldn't go anywhere).

What the heck. You came here being all like, "I'm sure I'm not as much of a Star Trek fan as most of you are..."
Then every other post you make since joining the STO team makes it clear that you are IN FACT a bigger Trek nerd than most of the people here, most of the existing developers (sorry, Zeronious, but daaaaaaaamn, Tumerboy is a Trek nerd), and quite possibly many or most of the writers for Star Trek.
Had the original unitard Next Gen costume, then later the TNG tunic (original was science blue, then I got "promoted" to command red). Also a hand-made Jedi robe (which is actually super comfortable, I now understand why they wear those in the desert)
Models: Miranda, Runabout, DS9, Enterprise-D, Light up Enterprise-D, Defiant, Light-up Enterprise-A, Enterprise (no bloody, A B C D), Enterprise-E (never finished).. I feel like I'm forgetting something.
All the technical manuals I can get my hands on - Mr Scott's, TNG, DS9, Encylopedia (both versions), the Omnipedia and Interactive Tech Manual CDs
Fun random, I have a cutaway Phoenix that was a handout opening night of First Contact, I also have the video release posters of First Contact and Undiscovered Country
Two best geek moments so far:
1) When my wife got me a working sonic screwdriver for Christmas. Yes, this one
2) When my daughter asked what I was watching. I told her Star Trek and she wanted to watch too. For the record, it was TNG - Unification Part I. During the show, she saw the Vulcan salute and tried to put her hand up the same way and said "Peace and Long Life." I had the biggest smile on my face.
Most awesome toy ever. I'm actually tempted to track one down and buy one to serve party beverages from.
Yes, I did. I just remembered that I also had the TNG engine room complete with dilithium. I was so mad when our local Wal-Mart didn't carry the TNG bridge.

I drew this. And am still drawing it. Oh, and I own every series but the original on DVD. Do I win?
No, because I have those. Watching Star Trek every evening made my Iraq tour a little more bearable. Plus, I found a way to get SC2 to run on a Dell computer while I was out there.

And whats yours? Do you hold yourself in good standing in geekdom?
Public Geekiness Rules!
Can I come to your house and hang out some time? What's your favorite food? Drink?
I have these.
305 TRANSFORMER robots
+4 (target, head, powermaster, humans)
+13 with personalities made when multiples combine together
+21 multiple copies
+5 non-transforems transformers. (i.e. marvel/star wars crossovers)
+4 customized ones
Margin of error of 7 (lost/stolen ones, counting one twice and forgeting to add a new one to list)
I once hit the Ent-D with my head and it almost hung upside down.
The 360 degree comic made me think of it.
What a d***.....

Dude. I have the most important executive Trek credentials:
A beard and a look of startled disdain.
Did you ever have the TNG Transporter playset?
Most awesome toy ever. I'm actually tempted to track one down and buy one to serve party beverages from.

I guess my boring vanilla TNG Technical Manual and the Star Trek Encyclopedia barely qualify me for this thread.
<-- Jealous
Man, I wish I even had my old original Playmates Tricorder anymore. No clue what happened to that thing. . .
