The original was far too powerful to begin with. It was an utter necessity to be competitive. Leaving it so overpowered and shifting it to the Sci slot wouldn't have fixed it, either, since most folks use Sci for dump consoles anyway; it would just open up a slot for another power console or an armor plate console or something.
As much as I dislike nerfs, this one was necessary.

I agree with this 100%. Too bad it really is a bug.
And for those of us who had it overflowed and now have consoles that are akin to paperweights because we've essentially "lost" slots? Is the fix for that coming tomorrow too?
Or am I going to have to buy a bunch of new consoles again, you know, since I already had most of my Science consoles turned into paperweights thanks to last Science console "fix."

with the old version, I had 11,952.9, that is + 3,098.9
the new version: 9589 that is + 735
that is a 23.72% of the original console, or a 76.28% LOSS of power, the console is now pretty much USELESS. How can you defend that?

really???
Oh sweet baby Jesus thank you.

is it going back to its old value, or is it going to be nerfed just less so?
