If that ground battle on the outside of DS9 with the space battle visible overhead is real gameplay, that right there might be what it takes to outdo Cloaked Intentions.
I am not understanding the reference to the 2800, and the 2800 returns. I must have missed that part in DS9.
thats the amount of troops (might have been ships) that the prophets stopped from coming through the wormhole once the minefield went down..
"With only hours left until the minefield was destroyed, Weyoun assured Dukat that all the ships lost during this engagement would be easily replaced with the 2,800 Jem'Hadar ships waiting on the other side of the wormhole. He reiterated that holding onto the station was the top priority. (DS9: "Favor the Bold") "

This. So very this. I am keeping my fingers crossed so hard that the space battle takes place above the player running around the exterior of the station.
We just played through the first episode the other day. It had some kinks to work out, but was pretty fun overall. I can't wait to walk around outside though!
That trailer is jaw-dropping. I'm excited. Considering this feature episode series has been in development for almost a year, and each feature episode series has been more impressive than the last, I have a feeling we're in for a truly epic adventure.

do they give a good reason for an admiral to be walking around on the exterior of the station? because i cant really think of any justification for our characters to be doing that, regardless of the cool factor. a klingon general might be there because of omega force, but what about low level characters? stuff like this was thought through right? i sure hope so.

Yeah! We're all vice admirals! We should just sit at a desk and never fly a ship or beam down to any planet!!!! I can't wait to play that awesome game!!!

Tumerboy, any hint on what the final FE reward will be? I'm hoping for a Jem Hedar vessel.

Ummm cause it's a video game? and not a realistic simulation of an entirely fictional universe that you will never live in....
I see STO this way. No matter what rank title you get in this silly game. you'll always be a captain. Its like if James T Kirk told you not to leave the chair. no matter the promotions.
Wait ... , so Bajor gets invaded / conquered AGAIN ?!?!??!!???
If so , here's a toast to Jupiterforce !
Errr , now seriously -- it seems like the feds are teaming up with the Klingons again ... -- I don't have much of a problem with that (even if it is a reused idea) -- what concerns me is that I hope it makes sense (story wise) for the Dominion forces to go to Bajor .
Why ?
Because at the time these forces were supposed to arrive (back in the Dominion War) , there was a non-aggression packt between Bajor and the Dominion . I sincerely hope that that get's addressed in the dialogue !

From what was said by Captain Geko on Podcast UGC a couple of weeks ago, CBS will not allow the Jem Hadar ship to be anything but Ultra Rare and nearly impossible to get. CBS did not want to "break" the IP by having all of the Feds and Klinks flying an enemy ship. It was one of the stipulations about letting them put it in the game at all.
I wouldn't mind a Jem Hadar BO, but really wouldn't care either (unless the ability or maybe weapon it came equipped with was cool.)
