Patch notes are being posted an hour after the patch instead of the night before? That's... unusual.

What's to spoil? There's nothing on the calendar and there's nothing on TTS but fixes.

I doubt the new KDF mission is going to launch tomorrow, and if it will that's something they should be promoting, not keeping secret. And that pretty much applies to all significant content.

My guess is that since Brandon posted around 8:30PM Their time (PST)...

It's probably because the Notes weren't done and he didn't feel like waiting around like Zero does, after hours...

The Guy also probably Has a Life.

    (I know..., i know.., BLASPHAMY !!!)

    <chuckle>

    Another educated guess...

If one were to look at the last couple of TRIBBLE UPDATES...,

...one would probably see pretty much what is going to hit Holo tomorrow.

    ;)

Maybe, but usually release notes are little beyond a copy/paste of what they were for TTS. Maybe a few new known issues will be added (but often not all the known issues even make the notes anyway).

You mean we get patch notes this time? Unlike the last two patches that changed stuff without patch notes :(

It was commented the reason for that was because it was a back end change to the server, but it still required a small client update so the versions of the client and server matched :). Nothing else was done. :)

If nothing was done why did Target Subsystem shields change? Why did the Breen set stop boosting projectile damage? What else changed?

My suspicion is that they contain a fix for an exploit and they don't want everyone rushing to use it before the patch.

Or maybe Cryptic has an understanding at last that there are guys who have !! 20+ !! prototype borg salvage in their inventory but never received any prototype tech and they add an option to exchange those (atm) usless stuff to something useful.
God... at least my shuttle is now fully equipped with MK XII Borg weapons  dont think thats intended?

Well but if thats the reason some would NOT sell the salvage for dilthium before the patch which seems to be the only use of salvage atm.

Couldn't help but notice that when I tried to log on earlier this morning (645AM EST) the shard was down. Checked here to see if it was known why and I find it is going to be shut down again today! (10-11AM EST)

Really this doesn't appear as a good thing and leads one to start wondering when it is going down and we find out your starting over and we have lost everything. I hope to avoid this from happening your protecting your customers with back ups??? Getting nervous about this guys!

I doubt it would be that easy if Cryptic would ever do it.
I reckon regarding to the rarity of the tech drops that it will be a 10:1 or 5:1 trade not a 1:1.

I am not complaining, i like the work cryptic did so far too. :)
But if we dont tell Cryptic somthing is not working as intended how should they know?
And atm u have better chances to win a $10mil jackpot and get struck by a lightning at the same day then getting a MK XII set together regardless ground or space.

They had to replace the hamsters again.

Funny, but my sources inform me that it's actually the "wheel" that needs maintenance this time around.

Seems the critters were getting their widdle feet stuck and some had to be physically removed from the spinning apparatus.

Of course, this resulted in mulitudes of the tiny rodents being unable to take part in the daily soiree.

I am told the queues were not only long, but also many Hamsters became "rat-like" in their behavior and rage quit all previously scheduled cage activities for the day in protest.

Methinks a change in their diet may better facilitate the more docile demeanor we are typically used to.

By default STO downloads what you need to start, and then downloads everything else while you're in game when it needs it.

With it off, it will download everything at once.

I remember when I started playing. "What? The game is only 2GB?"

Aaaah, thx! Those loading times ingame were really annoying, and its not like theres a problem downloading another 4gig when theres a 2hour downtime all the time anyways :D
