TRIBBLE Maintenance and Release Notes - January 24, 2012

We will be bringing the Tribble server down for maintenance to apply a new update.
ST.17.20120123b.3

General:
  • Fixed typos in short descriptions for "Teamwork" and "Spiritual" traits.
  • Updated space difficulty slider.
  • NPC ships get less HP and Shields, but slightly more damage at higher difficulty.
  • Updated Injury pack descriptions
  • Added Mk X Ground Sets to vendor that allows you to pick them up free for testing purposes on Tribble.

Known Issues:
  • Character creation is a little wonky.
  • The transwarp button is still (temporarily) disabled.

    have you guys found the ground combat power freezing bug? Its starting to get a little annoying having to log out and back in several times a day when in the middle of STF's?

    let me guess... at the excited speed you're working, there's gonna be an evening edition of 24th patch notes, fixing the transwarp bug? :p

    Since as yet no one has found reliable steps to reproduce it, our programmers have yet to find a solution. We're working on it. :)

    And I suspect we will try to get another build to Tribble tonight with the transwarp fix, too, Trek17. ;)

    It seems to happen to me after I get server lag more often than not. I'll be in the middle of using a power/hypo/weapon fire....server lag...boom no responsiveness to anything. Maybe that can help

    Pretty hard for them to test the server lag because they are on the other side of their IP address that is causing all the issues ( 38.111.40.114 ).

    Zero I made a FRAPS video real quick to show you what I keep barking about with the lamps at Starbase 39.

    I apologize in advance my voice is not so great since I am recovering from a head cold.

    If its the same thing I get sometimes, then just tab out of the game.. and hit your 'Windows Key" and the Windows 'Menu' key on your keyboard. That will also fix it when you find you cannot sprint anymore. But you have to actually tab out of the game and hit them. Seems to have somehting to do with accidentaly hitting those keys on occassion in game and the game not liking it.

    The file now works lol I recommend you watch it with VLC media player or make sure you have all your codecs ( It will be Audio only if you are missing a codec ).

    Oh no! Zero passed out from exhaustion.

    I wasn't fast enough with my bug video....now it will never be seen :(

    In Google's name I swear I will make Dropbox pay for what its done!!!

    And after that I will go get some pie...pecan pie....yeah. :)

    This issue happened to me 2 times. I died and after pressing the respawn button i was unable to shoot or activate any power. I was killed by Klingons and Romulans with disruptor weapons. One time on the Romulan Temple map.
    Maybe this few datas can help.
