Picard's Hands????

I was watching the TNG episode "Lessons" and I noticed that Picard's hands change when he first plays the duet with Daren. In SD on Netflix it is obviously so fake looking. I'm surprised they didn't try harder.

Hmm, your right. It seems Stewart can do all sorts of funny things with his hands.

Are you watching this on blue ray? Its been a while since I've seen it on regular dvd, but even then it was obvious Picard was miming to an off-camera or post addition. I recall reading that the actual flute didn't even work as a flute but allowed him to blow into it to help the illusion.

No, I'm watching on Netflix. But even at 480p it is still clearer than what it was when analog was the norm. I knew it was obviously fake before; now it just looks goofy.

I actually feel bad for Picard. Here, he finds the love of his life and he can't pursue it. It's kind of sad.

To be fair, snapping is an art. And so is photo shopping! Which that picture is.
Of course a connoisseur of TNG would have known that. ;)

    Now in Genesis... Oh boy.
But that involves hairy knuckles and some serious eyebrowing. :p
