I've just started a new series on Youtube, my first ever, of Let's Play Star Trek Online now that it has gone Free to Play. I probably screwed it up badly, but i'm sure everyone will let me know

I plan to do about 2 episodes a week, which will contain 2 storyline missions each, around 45M videos. My first time doing this, and uploading to Youtube, so my channel sucks right now. Anyway, perhaps this might help some F2P players learn the game.

Appreciate the views and feedback. I plan to extend to other games in the future, but starting with STO as my love for STO knows no bounds.
Comments
I watched the first part, is that a squeaky chair or have you got a hamster keeping your PC running
I love what you're trying to do here, it's really a great idea and I think many will find it useful and informative. Do you mind if I make a couple of observations?
Run through it first so you are not surprised by what has changed
Make a script on your trial run
Edit it down, a lot, way too long if you want to keep their interest.
other than that fantastic idea, I share your love for the game and thank you for your efforts.
Matt
-Yes, squeaky chair, I'll spray some stuff on it so it won't do that anymore
-I think part of the interest is in doing this the "first time" so to speak, allows me to easily tell f2p'ers how it was, I wanted to play through fresh again now that its f2p and see what the changes are, so that's part of the information to impart
-I agree run-time was long, I was thinking the whole first video through the tutorial would be 45M in length, but it ended up being 1 hour and 12 minutes, and I had to break it up into two videos, the next ones won't be so long cause I won't have to explain things like I did in the Intro video. I'll make sure to keep each video under 45 minutes, run-time is definitely forefront on my mind.
Thanks for the input, I hope you watch the 2nd video, it really dives into the tutorial.
I know you're talking about your photon torpedo launcher, or referring to the fact that you only have a single bridge officer who's a tactical officer, but someone new might not. (And I had to think for a second when you said you 'just had a tac'.)
gotcha! good feedback, i'll make sure to say full names in the future
my next video is simply going to be going around ESD, showing what's there, equipping my ship, character and BO's, so I'll explain a lot of that there
We definitely need more videos like these!
Agreed, I want to get the word out there more about STO in the world, more coverage, more gaming, show people what its like.
Make sure to give my DX11 vs. DX9 performance review a read too:

Just another thing I'm doing to help gamers. There will be more STO performance reviews when Cryptic updates DX11, and NV/AMD update drivers for STO.

Also, when the new FE comes out, I'll be doing Let's Play of the new FE as a standalone series!!! So stay tuned, that will be a lot of fun.
*patiently waits*
Will have another one up in a couple days
Also, an announcement, I'll fully be covering the new FE's each week.
I'll play through, first run, each FE on Saturday and record it, and encode video and upload the video on the same day of the new FE, every Saturday, each week. I'll start a new playlist in Youtube. So stay tuned for full FE coverage!
