A little late for Martin Luther King Day,But....

I know I'm a bit late in posting this for MLK day,but I figured it was relavent nontheless.....
It's a little excerpt from a documentary where Nichelle Nichols,AKA the Original Uhura,talks about how Martin Luther King emplored her to stay on TOS,and in doing so,admits he's a Trek fan!!!!
Gotta love it!!! If They start selling the Odyssey Class Starships,I'm naming mine after MLK!!!! :D

    It's a great bit of history and I think it speaks to how ground-breaking some of the ideals and concepts of Star Trek were when the show was first on the air. And how important that diversity was.

    Definitely just made my day with this post. >D. I was thinking about him today, but i had no idea he was a trek fan. Very cool.
