Wow, Thanks a lot Cryptic....

My three year old daughter loved chasing the animals running the race in Q's Winter Wonderland and now I have to keep telling her that there's nothing for her to chase. To which she cries (and rips apart my heart).

I'm thinking petting zoo on Risa....

You have a very talented 3 yr old if she could run that race!

My clumsy sausage fingers took several attempts before I could reliably finish it...

Have you thought about having real animals she could chase and play with?

I didn't say she did well. In fact, by the time she finished running she was on her fourth animal.

That entire event should be an inspiration for a repeatable "Shuttle Race" daily.

Aww that's cute and yet sad :(

I agree with having some sort of "petting zoo" hehe. It'd be fun to see the animals running around :) Maybe a jurassic park type...wait no that didn't end too well did it?

As hilarious as this is, and it really did make me lol, I have to question the wisdom of posting this in a thread that starts with the words "My three year old daughter".

Kinda seems in bad taste. XD

EDIT: Then again, no one ever claimed this place had taste to begin with.

I can't really feel like Cryptic is at fault with this one. My sympathies to your daughter for her disappointment. I'm fairly sure it would be possible to make some kind of animal chasing race in the foundry. Put out a request on UGC perhaps?

Nor, I would imagine, does it involve much "Petting"...

quick and easy solution get her a horta or exocomp pet for her character but seriously it's cool that she's interested and you can share the game. I had a G.M that got his kids hooked on gaming it kept them out of trouble and he used to say the family that games together stays together.

well i avoid that by having the real thing. we have 2 cats, 4 goats, about 60 chickens, 3 horses 20 or so cows and 5 donkeys (including the two new born donkey babies)

it keeps me busy when im not working and the kids love them.

hard part is explaining things like when the 2 pigs left. I told my 5 year old that piggly and wiggly (yes that was their names LOL) they got tired of living here and we put them on a train to go visit their mother.... then a couple weeks later we had pork chops 8).... Lots of prok chops... and ribs... and pork loin and... well you get the idea.

Infact im getting a bull named Sir Loin ready for the butcher in a few weeks.... WHEEEE couple of freezers full of meat.

The eggs help her and her little brother learn counting. And there are enough chickens that she doesnt realize when one of them ends up in the freezer.

i dont worry about the cats to much more since socrates is now big enough to take care of himself. Or when my daughter comes in and tells me "Soc's is eating a lizard!"... im just eeww!

The goats belonged to our nieghbor but he died so we took them in. Nanny goat is really good with the kids.

Anyway i highly suggest the owning your own petting zoo its cheaper than the grocery store by a mile and it keeps you and the kids outside a LOT more.

Actually since im a single parent have been trying to get a couple of dogs. but i cant afford what i want. we live out in the country and its fairly quiet but i still worry about pedifiles. its probably more a fear for me since i was abused when i was little than an actual problem but well...

So i want something big and mean looking so that if im cleaning the house and they are out there i dont have to worry so much. Would make me feel a lot better than having the shotgun down where i can get it.

anyway havent found anyone willing to donate a doberman pup or german shepard pup or rotwieller pup or saber tooth tiger pup yet 8D

I started this growing concern when my ex walked out on us when my son was 6 months old he is now 2 and 1/2. a lot of the animals where fairly cheap and a lot where given by family and friends or have made new animals themselves :p .

most of the friends keep trying to give me chihuahua's. I guess they assume that is the kind of dog i can handle which is wierd cause i can handle both my bulls Lucas and Sir Loin.

Anyway im hoping to get enough back on taxes this year to lay in the feed and hay for next year, an incubator, 4 peacocks ( their eggs sell for 60 to 80 bucks a pop. can we say c-store money next spring 8P ) and 2 german shepards. already got their names picked out. Porthos and D'Artangon

well im off to bed. night 8D

I think that's awesome, I live in the big city but wanted to turn my backyard into a garden to try and save money on groceries and for the health benefits. I know it might be hard on your own but I really envy you. I did try and start a garden last summer but my dog ate it lol..

If you find a saber tooth tiger pub tell me where to get one. :D Else I would take the german shepard if possible. They are just great but you have to be willing to take the time and effort to train them and to make them safe for your kids. They are nothing to play around with and can become a real danger.

My family had 2 german shepards when I was young. They were well trained and there was nothing to fear when they were with you. But at the same time we locked them up whenever someone was visiting. If I had played a bit rough with my friends and they would have thought I were in danger... let's just say it wouldn't have ended well. (For the other one, I had nothing to fear)

Oh and don't take a chihuahua... barking a lot but not worth the effort. :D

Look up the German Shepperd Rescue resources online...

You'd probably qualify as a rescuer no problem and then you'd end up having a couple of dogs around all the time.

They usually only require you to feed and keep the creatures safe... Many times the local rescue league will pay for getting them fixed and any vet services the dog might need.

^^This. Since you have the property, a couple of German Shepherds would probably be great. They are also easy to train. And as I told my wife, if you are a guy breaking into my house and the first thing you see is a German Shepherd staring at you, are you going to stick around and see if it's nice?

I already looked. While the animals are neutral, that means they'll attack everyone. I did come up with the idea of costuming a Fed with a beast, but I just haven't gotten to it.

Didn't know there was such a thing. I will look that up this morning when i leave here. would be great if there is one near by.

And yes this is a small farm. infact its tiny compaired to everyone around me.

If you and your daughter are ever in south alabama Bob let me know i'll have you over and we will saddle up my neighbors shetland pony and give your daughter aride around the pasture 8)
