I've not really been maintaining my STO ship charts as much these days, what with Spidermitch doing a great job with his own and the information now been available at the spacedocks. However, I am still creating vector images of all the ships from Star Trek and recently created the Enterprise-F. I thought a few people here may enjoy seeing the size comparison of all the Enterprises:-

Enterprise Progression Chart

The length of the Odyssey class was determined by using a screenshot CapnLogan posted on Twitter with it next to a Negh'var. I also created it in a printer friendly version as well after all the years of people emailing me for printer friendly versions! ;)

this is awesome work as always, although it does highlight how bad the J's profile is.

Yeah, the profile really doesn't translate well to what the ship looks like!

The J is a bit of a mammoth! If I remember rightly, the D was 641 metres long, so that makes the J about 3.5km at that scale! Mental.

You made an error. USS Enterprise NX-01 isn't part of USS and the Enterprise-NX-01 Refit wasn't launched 2151:p

true it was not a U.S.S. although its arguable about the launch date as its technically the same ship. it just got an upgrade, so its launch date is still correct.

perhaps the refit date should be in brackets (if its a known date).

The UFP was formed at the end of the show, si it would of ended up in service in the UFP during its service time (one would assume). The refit launch is still correct as it's the same ship still, a ships initial launch date is not altered at every refit.

I love how my charts always spark a debate of Trekkie nitpicking :-p

If i remember correctly, it was on Brex files, saying it was launched 2160

Technically, the NX-01 was decommissioned after 2161 when the UFP was signed. The refit would probably be known as USS

    VERY NICE work there.

(Hey Cryptic, since it doesn't appear we're going to get a time travel FE featuring the Enterprise-C anytime soon from most accounts - could you just up and put the Ambassador Class on Captain Logan's schedule and get it in the C-Store? It WAS the Class of an actual Enterprise we saw ON SCREEN in th Star Trek franchise, and should be available in game.) :D

In relation to the Enterprise-J being "Universe" class. Just wondering where you got that info because I always thought it was "Monarch" class. Just curious.

EDIT also heard of it being "Celestial" class.

I don't see anything odd or awkward about the Odyssey's profile, personally.

This said, great work Suricata. :)

the guy who invented it called it a universe class. no on screen reference though so its kind of up in the air until its mentioned on screen but i have always known it as universe class .

You can see the article where I did research into the ship Here. In the article is a quote from Doug Drexler (the ships designer) where he states it is a Universe class vessel. Of course, this was never stated on screen, so it could change, but then several other class names have not been said on screen either, such as the Miranda class... :-)

Well, since that ship existed in an alternate time line, it might not ever exist at all...

    Very nice chart!

On a side note, I just think the J is a hideous looking ship. However the silver lining is, as pointed out by someone else, that the J technically might not exist at all since its from (potentially) an alternate future.

Plus I have my own little theory that establishes that the show Enterprise doesn't exist in the prime universe either... so I could throw that into the mix too.

    Watchoo Talkin Bout Willis?!

To me it looks like the next in line in the progression from B-F

If anything, the J is the one that doesn't look like it belongs to the rest.

The JJ-verse ship is bigger than a Sovereign. I know, I know... But Borci and Kurtzman claim that the Kelvin blackbox got detailed info on the Narada's Borg and late 24th century Romulan technology and that everyone in the JJ-verse is basically in ships on par with 25th century design in the Prime timeline, running with the idea that the JJverse Enterprise is more of a successor to the E. (The scale is not consistent from shot to shot in the film.)
