What up Trekkies, I heard you guys needed like 43289% more Taco over here.

I'm Tumerboy, some of you know me already, many of you do not. I've been an Environment Artist at Cryptic for nearly 7 years now. I started on City of Villains, placing trash around Bloody Bay, and have bounced between projects a few times. Most recently, I've spent the past couple years on Champions, where I'm the loudmouth dev who throws snowballs and partybombs.

Now I'm here, helping STO out with some environment work. (Maps, missions, etc.).

I started a new character this morning, to run through all the changes that have been made since I last played STO regularly.

Anyway, I'll see you guys around the forums, or maybe in game.

Toodles.

Ya, I tend to get them confused, especially after I took an arrow to the knee.

Thanks for dropping by the REDALERT channel earlier, it was quite a surprise to see a purple dev name I didn't recognise, and welcome back to STO.

If you require any feedback, just pull up a thread and we'll give the best we got!

Does this mean you'll be working on fleet starbases for us? ("Guild" housing)

Or more things for us to do in our ship interiors? (personal bases/housing)

Or making ESD and DS9 (Heck all starbases), much, MUCH bigger on the inside?

Nice to see you here from Champions!

    We meet again, Tumerboy!
Great to see you pop into REDALERT, as someone else mentioned. It's always good to see a dev around.

Anyway, just wanted to drop by and say Hi. etc.

P.S. :D It's either the Cryptic Ponies, Flying Taco pets, or Tacos in our replicators.

Thanks guys, no idea what I'm going to be working on long term. At the moment I'm polishing up Bajor for you guys, and then some Promenade work. That's really all I know so far.

Oh, and just in case my ST credentials are in question. . . I grew up watching TNG every week, watched all of DS9, and most of Voyager (it lost me somewhere in High School). Never got into Enterprise. I hated TOS as a kid, but rewatched the whole series when the new movie came out a few years ago, and loved every minute of it.

Star Trek IV was the first Trek film I saw in the theater.

I didn't attend my first Con until 1996 (maybe?), when I went to one in SF with some high school friends.

I wore a klingon forehead prosthetic and TNG Engineering uniform for Halloween when I was 14.

I made multiple plastic models of various Enterprises. I built the D twice, hand painting every panel until I was crosseyed.

Picard is my captain, though I love me some Kirk double side kicking action.

Crusher is a better Physician, but McCoy is a better 'doctor.'

I'm sure I'm not as knowledgeable as most of you guys, but I should be able to hold my own.

Hi Tumer - I also play CO and was the one always bugging you for that Moonbase zone. ;)

Welcome aboard STO - but I gotta say, I don't think the CO crowd will be pleased as you're a good 60% of the Dev posts over there. But honestly, as someone who is hoping to see STO content expand; I'm happy they brought an experienced enviroment creator over to help the STO team.

and for me...back in the day....I'd rather have McCoy be my physician, and Crusher play my "doctor" (wink wink nudge nudge) ...there's just something about red heads!

don't let TRON find out he's on record as not being the biggest fan of the Bajora system. but i digress. Welcome aboard and please oh please give us as much as help as you can anywhere.

Request: could you light a fire under the rear-ends of who ever is in charge of costumes, I've been begging down right pleading for the Captain Braxton (Bruce McGill) 29th Century Uniforms since beta.

    Actually. . . it was a tumor.

When I was 10, I had some vision troubles. My mom thought it was a lazy eye. She took me to her eye doctor (In Santa Cruz). He sent me to another eye doctor over here in Los Gatos. He took photos of my retinas, and my left one was almost white, meaning no blood was getting to it. He sent me to Stanford for an MRI. They said come back in 5 days and we'll operate.

2 surgeries, a recurrence, another surgery, radiation therapy, a truckload of medication and 21 years later, and here I am.
