Forgive me if there is a dedicated new introductions thread - I've only just joined and I'm not use the forum setup yet.

I thought I'd briefly introduce myself as I expect I'll be needing a lot of help/advice/guidance when it comes to playing the game. I've never played a computer game in my life - that's not to say I don't game, it can be near impossible to drag me away from my Xbox, but PC gaming is completely knew to me. All keyboards and not joystick.

The reason I'm playing the game is that I'm a fan of the Star Trek movies/televison series and someone kindly bought the game for me based off the knowledge that I love Star Trek and play videogames. Lovely and well meaning but a little bit off target. But then there's a first time for everything! If I'm going to try out PC gaming I might as well start off with a game based of my favourite tv show XD

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Happy gaming!

You are here for Star Trek? Where were you two years ago hm? *poke poke* Answer me these questions three and for you I will give the welcome brief.

#1. What is the secret of life?

#2. What is greatest food ever?

#3. What is the average air speed velocity of a coconut laden swallow?

    1. 42
    2. Pavlova
    3. Depends on whether it is an African or European swallow.

    How'd I do?

So close two out of three. Unfortunately your wrong answer is complete heresy.

    *lands safely*

I'm not sure you can really call a meter drop a cliff...more like a rather large naturally occuring step.
