One thing I have always loved about this game, is the scaling and the attention paid to sizing etc!! I know it's not perfect, and people will always weigh I'm with their own opinions, but it's far better than previous Trek games I've played.
Here's one of my Odyssey Eng The 'Endeavour' and my friends Prometheus?? Variant... The 'Liberator' based on some play by Bulletin Board sims we used to play in years before the luxuries offered by games like this. We play as a team whenever we play, and are pretty unstoppable!!!
So, I'm standing around "Mining" my own business on the asteroid and some guy comes up to me from behind and...
SHREEK! :P
Well, at least no one can dispute the power of your Mining Tool.

"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone

The Andorian from SFA visits New Romulus. She looks so calm when that annoying Tellarite is not around.
It's a Gekli from the Flintstones silly. :P

My "TRON" Guramba in sector space... IKS G'urasu
And finally, the IKS G'urasu's Javelin barrage in action!
It looks like a mini-Death Star.

One of these days I'll get my dream shot of the javelin beam actually destroying it's target...
Have you ever tried demorecord? It would make getting that shot a lot easier.
