Do you think catfish have feline tenancies?

Do you think random randomness follows a pattern?

Well, what do you think....?

I love catfish. Have seven different species in my aquarium right now. Synodontis petricola, a mixed shoal of brochis and corydoras, a bristlenose, a pecolita, glass catfish, and some new debauwis (big tank - 100 gallon display with another 100 in the sump). Might even be a couple otos still alive in there, but they'd be about five years old if they are. When I still kept big fish I also had larger synodontis species, pictus, columbian shark catfish, and plecos.

I can't say any catfish I've kept or considered keeping is catlike. Many are shoaling, and most of the rest are at least semi-social. Synodontis and plecos are more doglike than anything.

Now cichlids, very catlike in many ways. Territorial, fickle, prone to mood swings. If most of them didn't mate for life it would be uncanny.

Yes, I know I completely missed the point of the thread, but my favorite aquarium board has been dead all week and I need to babble about my fish.

Do you think if I asked a replicator for a pepsi, that it would tell me that it couldn't replicate name-brand products?

No it would state that the Federation has a deal with Coca Cola, and that only their products are availible for replication.
