Which do you prefer most? I honestly cannot decide. Little background on me, I primarily pvp, and on occasion do enjoy a good rp. Which is why I also need help choosing a name. Some options are on the picture above, but others are welcome.
The following is just a rough draft on some ship background info that I may or may not use, but its from back in the day
--> Background ship info <--
I generally prefer B, but that saucer looks malnourished on it.
Put A's saucer on B and take a look at that, or possibly B's nacelles on A for a heavier version of the same basic look.
Your suggestions.
Put A's saucer on B and take a look at that = the saucer and hull dont mesh do to a large 'lip difference'
B's nacelles on A for a heavier version = it did look nice, but I forgot to mention that I would try the challenge of one ship part from each variation set.
However with your suggestions I managed to pull out another variation where the lips match on the saucer and hull. btw what was it that tipped your scale in favor of B over A?
What tipped my opinion between B and A was mostly the nacelles, I've never liked that particular nacelle type, and I don't think forward swept pylons really mesh with the Star Cruiser's overall design - it ends up looking cramped and unbalanced. I also preferred the hull somewhat - I like the sleek-but-heavy look, the hull on A is a bit boxy for my taste, but B also had those weird boxes near the tail that I could never quite figure out the point of, so hull was kind of a wash.
I have a Science Captain and I thought it would be fun to fly a cruiser for a change. I just picked up the Nomad class Star Cruiser and am working on a build.
