Hello all.

So, i'm typing up a bio for a new character, i always do, adds a bit of flavor and fun to the character. After putting some time and detail into it, i hit create character and receive.....

'Profanity detected in description'

So i copy the bio, delete it from the field and create the character. Can't add it after the fact either.

So i create a petition and past the bio into that, asking whats being flagged.. only....

You can't create a petition with profanity either. THERE IS NO PROFANITY!

I've tried changing Classified to Restricted to get rid of the word in there, i tried removing 'Bone' and 'Glands' from the bio to see if that was tripping it up...

I can't figure this out, so i'll post it here and see what the forum censors out.

Warning: Restricted File!
Section 31 Operative.
Name: Zerokkazin Bakkarith Nok'Toh
Age: 163
Race: Wisoan'har Dari (Whispers in the Winds)
Rank: Operative, Commander grade.

Zerokkazin Bakkarith Nok'Toh comes from a little known, and quarantined planet near the Regulous Badlands. His people call themselves the Whispers in the Winds due to their hunting style and abilities. It is for this reason the planet is off limits.

Dari, as they are known, combine fierce biological abilities with constant training and physical conditioning to produce a frightful mix. Telepathic beings with the ability to trap all light that touches their skin, thus reflecting nothing back, becoming invisible. They see perfectly at night and have excellent hearing.

Dari believe personal combat to be a form of worship, and that such should always involve physical contest. As such, a Dari will never lift a ranged weapon in face to face conflict. They have, however, shown no such restraints about using ship based weaponry against another ship.

Their speed and physical strength, combined with their telepathy, makes for a dangerous Melee combatant. Should a Dari loose his weapon, he can fall back on bone claws that can be poisoned by small glands at the tip of each finger should they wish.

The Dari code of honor is very specific. Once sworn to a task, they must complete it, or take their own lives in exchange for failure. The same code governs their refusal to use a ranged weapon, and in the few times Star-fleet has faced at Dari, they have been known to charge an entire squad of armed men with nothing but their claws, a suicide rush, rather then taint themselves with a phaser.

A current Section 31 Project involves the use of Zerok as an eliminator and spy. This is the first attempt by the Federation to use Dari forces.

There might be an unlucky combination of words.

"As such", for example (makes "***"). It might also be "taint".

The profanity filter in the game is way to restrictive. Had this kind of thing happen to me on a few occasions while editing a foundry project. It should at least (!) show you which word is interpreted as offensive.

I think it's just Section 31 way of staying secret. They even manipulated the Federation universal translator's profanity filter.

    :)Zerokkazin Bakkarith Nok'Toh
is coincidentally an odd combination of Andorian, Jem'Hadar and Vulcan slang which a universal translator renders into Galactic Standard as: **** mother****** you **** **** shuttlecraft ********** ****, the phrase is nonsensical, but the resulting torrent of alien vulgarisms is enough to turn a multi-lingual Andorian blue....so you can see the difficulty.

    :)

Rad Bio btw...wish more people took the effort...They're fun to read.

It's an uncommon anatomical reference (I never heard it until I was spending a lot of time around army people who all learn it from Drill Sergeants), but a legit use of the word. You should be able to find it in regular dictionaries.

I don't have a military background so I was unacquainted with the military term.
I found it in the online internet URBAN dictionary.
The technical anatomical term for this in human males and females is "perineum."
