;;answers the hail in his smaller robotic form;; Right now our main task force is focusing on keeping the borg inside of the Gamma Orionis system but we have scouts patrolling all sectors with ships on standby if the borg open a transwarp gate into a system. We have a cease-fire with the klingons when we enter the Sibiran, Vorn, and Quadra Sigma systems. It isn't a peace treaty by any means but we can atleast agree that the Borg are a common enemy and that it's more benefical to fight together instead of against eachother.

*Space shimmers as a cloak is disengaged and the U.S.S. Nightingale fades into view alongside the U.S.S. Babylon 5*

Vice Admiral Jinx, of the U.S.S Nightingale, hailing the U.S.S. Babylon 5.

I have been instructed by Admiral Quinn to report to you, Sir. He is of the opinion that the prototype Borg equipment I have fitted to the Nightingale could be of some use to you in future engagements with the Borg.

With your permission, I'd like to close formation with the Babylon 5 in order to protect your left flank.

If you wish to send some engineers over to see what we have done with the Nightingale's systems, I would be more than happy to give them a tour and provide any technical data they may require.

Very good Sir, we are at your disposal. If you contact me when you are ready to beam over, I will meet you in the transporter room for your tour.

*The Nightingale cloaks and moves into position to protect Babylon 5's port side. On the Babylon 5's bridge, the sensors officer receives transponder data from the Nightingale which allows the flagship to identify it's location while cloaked*

After te admiral beams over and walks into the ready room.

Hello admiral. Serrina activate security systems in this room. Admiral serrina is my ai. Now I first have a question an please be fully honest with me. I know I have enimies in starfleet intel and starfleet as well because of the research I'm doing we will get to that later. But is protection of this ship the real reason you are here or are you here to keep an eye on what I'm doing.

OOC images of Tal and the team at Hermes Research Institute
    Photobucket Slideshow of TAL 02

The watery planet of Ocea swirled white misty clouds over the turquoise waters dotted with emerald jungle islands.

Ambassador Tal was speaking to the ship's AI avatar. The ship was growing slowly, improvements were being made and this version was much more... stable.

Tal reached a long hand to a nearby console that had a delayed message. The alien tilted her head slightly as she made note of the Federation symbol on the message.

'Ah The Federation' Tal thought to herself. She nodded a moment and began formulating a reply through the universal translator.

Greetings Federation Representative. As you may well already know, the ship itself has been designed to specifically excel in undine space and other... 'aquatic' environments. Given it's hybrid construction by means of organic technology, the process has been both slow and arduous.

I would me remise to mention that you are not the first to approach us. However, it is the consensus of my people, that the Federation is best suited to defend us from further Undine aggression.

How might I be able to further assist you in your inquest?

*Tal spoke with a fluid voice of several different octaves speaking as one, the universal translator missing some of the context which descriptives were found in. Satisfied with the message, she return to the difficult process of synchronizing the avatar with the hybrid vessel.

Well my dear ambassador I have been doing research into the undine and the portals they use and the people as a whole. Which I think is why I have a growing number of enemies in starfleet. The undine of infiltrated everywhere and they think I will find them. Now with your peoples ship and my knowledge of the undine and there space. I think given ships and time we could force the undine to cease these attacks. Also I have my ai sending you some info on the undine and some scans you can run to detect where and when they will appear. If we work together I'm sure we can defeat this threat to our people. Also as I'm not really from this reality. I have some Advance ai tech from my past home that I can share with you since you use ais unlike the federation.

Protecting your ship is all I am here for Admiral. I suspect Intel would not be too happy to discover the Nightingale is here. Which, them being Intel, they either already know, or will never find out.

My orders, received personally from Admiral Quinn, are to stay cloaked when I'm not needed and to protect your back, whether any threat comes from outside the Fedration, or within it. It seems he has a lot of faith in this research you are doing. Of course, situational orders from yourself supercede these.

Are your sensors picking up the Nightingale's signal? They should be. It's a little something myself and my Chief Engineer devised to help ships track friendly cloaked vessels.

The Nightingale is equipped with anti-Borg weaponry, although they work just fine against non-Borg targets too. Admiral Quinn feels that any research into allowing passage through fluidic space would be of great interest to the Borg.
