    Woot second post. :D

Pretty cool. I have been dismissing officers left and right to make room for the new recruits. This will make things a little easier.

One question, does the Super Rares - Xindi - have their own packs or are they mixed in the regular packs?

If you already have the XO-Comp as a Tribble test reward can you get a second one this way?

While I'm not priy to interna, there's no reason to assume to can't have more than one Exocomp in your DO crew.

Suliban, Xindi, Augmenst - More canon species - I absolutely love it!

The Tribble Exocomp is tactical. This one is engineering. They are completely different DOs from the look of things.

As for the new super-rare duty officers being random in Duty Officer packs, I'm feeling lazy so I'm not going to rant about how the random number generator hates some of us and am instead just going to use a smiley to express my opinion of this.

    :(

Please, please, please give us a way to get these duty officers that doesn't involve praying to the random number generation gods.

How do the Chances of the new Purples compare to Regular Purples? Is a mere mortal going to see one?

While I love special Doffs, the ability to buy more roster space is very welcome! :)

Is that Engineering Exocomp the same as the Tribble reward? I got the Tactical Exocomp, but never got to tier 3, so I didn't get the Tier 3 reward. If it's the same, I'd feel better (though still upset that I didn't get it for my account). :)

aaand gamble box Nr. 2 has arrived already while the first one isn't even gone.

    yeah, no thx

also having 700 doffs spread over 7 chars is enough of *AFK micromanagement* for me
i realy do not want have to handle 2800 DOffs... i need a first officer to handle these guys...

hey maybe someone wants to trade a few DOffs for those Holo Tribbles and Holo SCI BOffs that i got from the red boxes? (if anybody want, hit me a PM)

It can't be the same because its a 'Engineerig' Exocomp, while the 'Tribble' test reward is 'Tactical' (I just love sending it to do 'Hand to Hand' combat demonstration assignments...)

I do have to say that these 'additions' to the game are having its intended effect... I'll have to stock up on more C-Points to expand my DOFF slot capacity...

Yep, that was the first thing coming to my mind, too.
And that new "awsome" roster powers they have may give a bonus significant enough to be needet in future PVP.

    Its just unbelievable....

And "an additional Green BO for all packages FROM C-STORE, of course! How awsome....
I really thought the people who fall for that would already be bankrupt through the Jem'Hadar fighter..

Duty officer packs opened during the event will each have a FREE additional Green quality or better duty officer inside. This only applies to C-Store purchased packs, not to ones awarded during rank-up or from recruitment assignments, and it applies only to packs opened during the event, even if they are purchased prior to the event.

Just to make sure - DOff packs gained from Red Holiday Gift boxes are the same as the C-Store item, and will be affected by the event, right?

Does the Bonus CXP factor in when Claimed or When you start the mission? IE, Can I hold missions now and claim them on the weekend for bonus CXP?

The new active powers are intended to be competitive with existing powers, not specifically better.

One question, does the Super Rares - Xindi - have their own packs or are they mixed in the regular packs?

    Regular C-Store packs.

How do the Chances of the new Purples compare to Regular Purples? Is a mere mortal going to see one?

The chance of getting one of the new purples compared to the existing purples is about 1 in 10.

Is that Engineering Exocomp the same as the Tribble reward? I got the Tactical Exocomp, but never got to tier 3, so I didn't get the Tier 3 reward. If it's the same, I'd feel better (though still upset that I didn't get it for my account). :)

Different. The Tribble reward was a Tactical Exocomp, this is a straight Exocomp and is more Engineering oriented.

Another question ... Can KDF send DOFFs on missions to kidnap those Xindi DOFFs from our fellow players across the zone? :D

Come on Cryptic, please not another gambling item. I was starting to feel positive about Cryptic again but this gambling approach is really dirty. Especially when you tease us with the pictures of the new doffs, making us think that there would be an in game way of earning them, only to disappoint us with this. I'm actually starting to think that you were better off under Atari. Either have a way of earning them in game, or allow us to just buy them straight up without making us pay to have just a chance to get them.

This is how C-store Doff packs have always worked. They are simply adding the ultra-rare Doffs into the mix of things you can get.

Yeahhh...not gonna waste my time reading these or on these forums anymore. I play games to have fun, not throw money at random number generators and increase the frustration in my life. Bad idea guys, but best of luck to you, for what it's worth.

    See ya.

I have my difficulties to believe that.
Something similar has been said about +1 ships... although they ARE specifically better (since they are the EXACT SAME plus MORE).

Also... the jem'hadar bug in question is everything but balanced towards other T5 ships.

So sorry... I dont buy it.

Then dont. You can still play the game the same way without buying a new Doff pack.

That's pretty disappointing, but at least thanks, I guess, for telling us the odds.

The XO-comp for the C-store was a tactical one (at least the 3 I have were) the one listed in the event is a eng one. So it should stack.

Great Stuff! Been looking for an excuse to hunker down and do some serious Doff micromanagement! :)

Is there any way to differentiate the Doff packs bought from the C-Store and those earned through other means? I know the ones earned through promotion are labelled with ranks.

For those who don't want to punt for the super-rare doffs with c-points, I'm sure it won't be long before people start buying the packs to sell on the exchange.

Being able to sell UR Doffs on the exchange won't really help. The Bug ship is available on the exchange as well if you have 350 Million EC.
