Why can`t STO make a clear switch from Desktop to Game? Confirmation needed.

Hi,

this is a very annoying thing, which will appear to be unproffessional for every new player, which will arrive.

If you switch from game to desktop and then from desktop back to game you always have only something like an sto overlay - the background, f.e. the browser is shining through and if you click anything in sto you are back to desktop and have to switch to sto another time. Can please anyone confirm? And can this issue be solved before f2p launch pls?

Sounds specific to your graphics card (presumably memory).

Whats your current specs and driver versions?
Are you running fullscreen, windowed or windowed maximised?

I've been <Alt><Tabbing> between STO and my Desktop since rthe original closed beta and have never experienced what you describe at all - in fact these days, I routinely alt tab out to my browser to go to the STO Wiki Lore page when doing the SFA Lore missions with zero issues.

I run in windowed mode and have 0 problems (I have a second monitor, which also helps the process)
