I'd imagine that there'll be a mission in the upcoming FE series that will require us to use this ship? I can't imagine Starfleet would really want us chugging along in former enemy vessels just for the fun of it.
Now that's almost enough to get me to log in before the 15th. I'm not a fan of the Dominion (no dislike, just don't care), but I am overjoyed to see a new Escort that is not just a minor tweak of one we already have (MVAM and Dfiant I am looking at you). Escorts have been lagging significantly behind Cruisers and Science ships.
New ships are always great! New stories also great! If this is a lead-in for the new FE I will be pleased.
However, T5 ships that are more powerful than makes sense for the storyline are kind of irksome, considering how many larger or equally sized modern ships did NOT make it to a T5 variant.
How can something that's decades old be a T5 variant when, say, a brand new ship like the Thunderchild isn't?
Oh and I think it's a bit obvious that these "little ships" are the ones that disappeared in the wormhole, part of a HUGE fleet that consisted of battle cruisers and fighters.
In the DS9 episode "Sacrifice of Angels"... The Prophets cause the Dominion ships to vanish, saving Bajor, and those ships are never seen again... Until now, perhaps?
Looks OP to me. Would rather have the Andorian Kumari as a cruiser though, hell you could even make it a escort based on the size, speed, etc seen in ST:ENT. Feds flying dominion ships is just wrong.
This is not right cryptic. I mean, new ships are nice, of course but PLEASE don't start adding your pay to win ships in endgame. You're going to just make every freakin person serious about PVP HAVE to fly one of these ships. Us players like diversity. Please fix the hull to match the rest of the escorts and not overpower this thing too much.
They didn't even say this would be ours to keep. They could just let us fly it for a mission or 2 like the BoP from the remastered Doomsday Device. As much as Id like to believe were getting a new escort I'm gonna wait to get my hopes up.
Intriguing. I'm reserving opinion on it until we get some better idea of what it's for. I can certainly see it as a ship to use to infiltrate the True Way or something like that.
As always, I express my hope that this is not just another C-Store item. I may even be pleasantly surprised.

Flyable Jem Hadar Ship?
What is this? I don't even....
Wow.
Oh dear...
*thinking of buying some more ship slots....*
*shakes head* I have to say no to this.
If you need to ask why;
For gosh sakes this is a kamikaze ship from an OLD war...
Even if you must give it some of these unique benefits I think you ought to;
I sure hope *not.*
Why? I just finished getting my Defiant-R.
I have no desire to have to replace it with either a super-grind, or a C-Store +1 ship.
And for the love of Pete its a DOMINION ship.....
I can see Andorian or Vulcan ships being used widely in Starfleet but a Bugship?
Have you guys finally cracked?
Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love ships! I love new toys! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!
"Fascinating"
:rolleyes:

Look forward to jumping in one though

And seriously... no Dervish jokes yet!?!?! (Sorry lol)
Seriously?
I've never complained about C-Store tactics before, but...that just makes me sad.
