:DAfter 15 minutes of frustration and trying to get on the same map, Hort_Wort, BoredZero, TheLastTest, and Krent, and I got on the same map for the ground invasion event and had a grand old time pulverizing the Borg.
During the first hour of the event, I managed to finish (with the teams assistance) the "Assililate This!" accolade! Thanks guys!
As the time went on, a couple of the team members had to go and get some rest, and it was down to Krent, TheLastTest, and myself.
We figured, what the heck, let's try the hard missions. The mission Klowedge is power went just fine and we got it taken care of after a few moments of confusion of how to interact with the Uplink node. Krent and TheLastTest got it working while I was staring at the screen with my head tilted wondering what to do.
After that, we decided to go for broke and try the last mission to take out the Assimilated Elite Gorn. The first try did not go so well. We charged back in (with the emote actually supplied by TheLastTest

)...
The second try went pretty well, but I was having an issue with my keyboard that I was not able to move correctly, and my number keys to attack/use abilities had messed up and I could not fight, and we got wiped out again. By then we had a good plan down to try it again.
After respawning back at the camp, I tried to fix my issue, and the other two waited patiently, and they recommended that I log out of the game and back in, and we could see if that helped. They said they would wait, but after the initial instance issues, I was not going to try it.
So I alt+tabbed out of the game and went back in. Bingo! The keys started working again, and we charged back in.
On the third try, with only a few minutes left, we managed to beat the Boss, and got our rewards.
So, anyone need a pair of borg nano-probe reinforced leather boots?

Are these real items?
Yeah, I was planning on it just being a quick thing and was already feeling the day catch up to me after it took over half an hour to just get into the same instance with each other.
Methinks they need to introduce a queue to get into particular instances.
