Kudos to you, intrepid Foundry authors

As other posts elsewhere elaborated on, I have only recently returned to STO for real life reasons. One of the biggest things released while I was away was the Foundry, so naturally I jumped into it headlong after patching- And DANG was I pleasantly surprised! There is so much content in there that is well written, challenging to think through, and cleverly set up.

The latest one I finished was "The Spirits of Ramok Nor" by Alimac30, which is easily one of the best missions I have played in STO period. This post is just me saying to all the awesome authors out there: Keep it coming! The non-combat content you all have released has been stunningly fun and I wait with baited breath to see what you all release in the future.

I know for a fact that we all appreciate when you play missions. It gives us reason to keep making 'em!

I'm also really impressed to see that these are the sort of missions the community is putting out, ones where story and plot are given their fair place in the action and where attention to details of the lore is shown. Maybe I'm biased, being a roleplayer at heart, but I can say with a fair level of certainty that the Foundry is the kind of content I think will keep STO alive in the long run. I find these missions far more entertaining and satisfying than the usual 'Grind STF for lootz/emblems/Dilithium/whatever we grind for this week' monotony.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Foundry Authors everywhere- I Salute You!

You may not know this but I sing your praise every chance I get to argue that STO doesn't have any new content.
    FALSE!
STO has a mind numbing amount of content and it's all thanks to you! So much so that I have a hard time keeping up with it all.

Great Work and never give up the fight because I love what you're doing to help this game.

I have to agree that I've found there are much better Star Trek stories in the Foundry than in the regular game. Even the feature episodes aren't as good as some of the Foundry content. The only thing that's a shame is that some people will not even look at Foundry missions because they are made by "amateurs".

OP, speaking of great missions, try the one in the Sig right above me. ;)

Hehe. You are actually the fourth person today who has recommended that mission to me! I'll most certainly be playing it through when I have the time to, looks pretty awesome. :)
