Why first 2? by the time you got 2 stipends, teh prise will be cut in half most likely... Tribble C-Store has it listed as 400 (T2)

Love the new designs, just a shame we can't use the skins at higher tiers. More value for the money if we could use them longer.

Yeah ... I've crammed one of my Lt. Generals into that new raptor and am still going to give it a good run.

Would love for the option to use the skin on the T-5 raptor.

i dont really understand why they dont allow some of these new ships, mostly the klingon one to work as tier 5 skins.

we already have lots of ships like the vor'cha, galaxy, defiant etc that cross 2 tiers.

these new tier 4 raptors, orion, gorn ships etc with extra tier 5 skins would increase the likelihood people would buy them and just add even more variety to the klinks. even if they are incompatible with the existing ships to stop any mixing and matching, at least people get to pick from 2 skins rather than just 1.

Well as far as the Connie goes, thats supposedly a CBS issue. And honestly, I have no reason to doubt them on that. Why? Because letting people buy a T5 connie or skin would MAKE them money. They have no reason not to allow unless its beyond their control.

Argument works for the T2 ships, but T4 should be a different matter. :)

That's not the Constitution class, though. Saying "No T5 Connie" is redundant. That's not a Connie, ergo the argument should be moot.

The description for the Exeter Class is wrong on the front page. It has the description of the Venture (Galaxy class refit) with antimatter spread.

Class? No. Variant? Yes. And the Exeter parts are interchangeable with the T2 connie parts. So if CBS wont allow a T5 connie then they probably wont allow something that is simply a variant or is interchangeable with it either.

I do love the Exeter. I've been using her on tribble and slowing down my lvling just to hold onto her a little longer. My only issue is with the console. The torpedo tracker is cool in theory but I'll bet it is really good for pvp but in pve there really aren't a lot of vessels that do a lot of cloaking. And when they do, it's sort of race to see if the torpedo can hit before the ship decloaks.

Considering how quickly the Raptor and Bird of Prey can turn in comparison to the Battle Cruisers, I don't think I like that Graviton Console...

Okay, fair enough, but why not release it without the Constitution components to it? CBS can't say that the Excalibur, Vespa and the Exeter-classes can't be T5. none of them are the Connie. Yes, I realize they probably could nickle and dome the situation but in theory.

I love the Exeter. My specific feedback is essentially nitpicking, but overall I like the ship.

Bridge: The Exeter's bridge is a... whimpy blunted cone. It's boring and disappointing to look at - especially considering that every other variant has a more appealing-looking bridge and that it encourages the impression hat the dorsal saucer is low on detail rather than streamlined.

Torpedo launchers: The front launchers feel too streamlined and integrated seamlessly into the neck and this greatly understates their presence. As for the aft launchers... we don't see any. Oh, I do see black pimples... but those are not torpedo launchers.

Console: I fail to see why a weapon-oriented console is limited to the cruisers. You're telling me that science ships should be unable to equip science equipment that gives a sensor bonus and allows to sometime fire cloak-tracking torpedoes?

I would love too see them allow the kling ships to have their skins be portable to tier 5 since all raptors and BoP snd some battlecruisers share a very similiar design I don't see much reason why we can't have the skin option for higher tiers. Even if they don't want to part up the ships they could at least allow you to use a straigth port of the skin. would be nice if we could get the same option for the gorn/orion/and nausicaan ships as they have very little customization.

Fed ships are harder to make universal skins for cause the ships have to much variance in form from ship to ship.

Actually, they could. I believe we were told at some point that they can veto anything in the game. Now, whether they WOULD is a different story.

    No thanks.

No End-game ship, no buy for me.

Dont get me wrong here. I love to buy for a ship. But not if there is no use for it on Tier 5. I would buy a Tier 1 BoP or Raptor even if its just to use the skin on my Tier 5. But the way Cryptic is going with this, It's very unlikely i will buy as much as i did before.

Such a shame, they lose alot of money with these choices.

Why would they sell them for 800 now then?

Because that us the current price for all +1 Ships at the moment regardless of Tier.
On Tribble the prices are tiered as well.
400 for T2, 800 for T3, 1200 for T4, 1600 for the Retrofits and 2000 for the odd supership like Gal-X if I'm not mistaken.
Those prices will be returned to current Holodeck prices come December and then Come back in January when the Free To Players arrive and everyone can go silver.
So at the moment every T4 +1 is a bargain while the T2s are to expensive in comparison.

I was silly enough to purchase the Raptor because I thought: "Looks nice, may be with that skin parts and the ship neutral skill tree I'll pick up the t5 raptor now and then"

Guess how disabpointet I was when the ship components did not work on the t5....
My bad, thought Crytic would do something right for a change, silly silly me...

The Exeter looks awesome, alot better than the Excalibur and I think they should have had this art team working on the JJ-prise, minus the "25tth century" paint job.

I realize that. I didn't mean to say that they have no legal or moral authority to veto anything in the game, only that by their own edict, there would be nothing wrong with a T5 Excal, Vespa, etc.

In other words, a figure of speech.

I think they dont even expect us to PvP at end game (What a surprise) but they probably expect us to go fly with a low tier ship and RolePlay some more :p

(Since U can even beat PvE at VA level with a Tier 1 ship its not really a surprise)

I think it's more of what the fans would've wanted in the new movie if they had a chance to voice their opions so why not have it here, it is said that in the new timeline because of the scans brought back by the Kelvin crew that by enterprise's launch the federation had started to use quamntum torpedos
