We will be bringing down Star Trek Online on 11.17.2011 from 6:00AM to 9:00AM PST (1300 to 1600 UTC) in order to perform maintenance and apply a new patch. We will provide an update once the maintenance has been completed.
Addie, it's been 4 hours since the announcement and their posts, some people get their fingers itching (lol). And after that Blog 23 disaster, people are just a bit more upset than usually.

BTW now it's seven hours.
And in the past, they would have long since had the release notes up by that point of the evening.
Communication just isn't a priority anymore. Why do you think they have (AFAIK) only one full-time mod (poor overworked Stormy)?

Addie? Is that a name? of Inupiaq for gimme a break?:D
Okay, I thought it said 13:00 UTC, which, as I am typing this, was 35 minutes ago. and I got the notice saying "down in 30 minutes" about 5 minutes ago.
So... is it UTC/GMT you mean, or Central European Time.
And aye, I have to agree, lack of patch notes usually means C-Store items, or patch notes appearing 5 minutes before the servers are up, but then again CCP spoilt me on patch notes, and bugs, and hotfixes ... and long delays ....

^ These.
To be honest...are we going to be in the dark for the rest of STO's life? Which might not be that long at this rate...

A couple of weeks after the end of Daylight Saving Time they always TRIBBLE up UTC. Who knows how this is even possible with the Internet and hundreds of little programs for this purpose around.

And in the past, when there were no patch notes, the patch usually contained the new C-Store items and maybe some stability things.
