Battery Skill and non-battery Batteries

Good afternoon. I was wondering does the new Battery Skill modified the non-battery Battery-like items such as the Red Matter Capacitor and the Enhanced Plasma Manifold?

    The RMC's tooltip says it does. I didn't test just how much it helps, though.

    yes it does. if memory serves me, the skill doubles the duration of normal batteries and addes +50% duration to special batteries.

    Idea for the crafting community: Have multiple levels of ship batteries be craftable, just like we do for hypos etc.

    For example, you get a white battery as a drop but with the addition of anomalies or dilithium it increases in effectiveness (define that how you will)

    i've seen different sized shield batteries so they do exist. I had a Shield battery- Large that had bigger bonuses, so they are in game, they should be craftable.

    yes, but those were ground shields batteries.

    They have different space shield batteries - but they are just different icons on the same power item.
