Please fix Earth Space Dock

I've been stuck at 96% loaded over 10 minutes. It's like this every time I go to ESD and select dock. If I have to go to the academy first, then beam up to ESD it loads fine. If I log off in ESD and log back into the game ESD loads fine.

Don't have this issue. I'd think it's something in your hardware....maybe you should do a full file check?

I agree.. I've never had a problem with ESD.

I have and as far as I can see it's not hardware related, I have no trouble with any other map transfer on either Holodeck or Tribble, I've also run a force verify but it made no changes that I could see. A few people in game have also said the same thing about getting stuck on load screens to ESD so it's not restricted to one or two people.
For me personally it only happens on Tribble and only when entering ESD, every other map transition takes seconds but ESD sometimes locks at 96% and won't budge. Closing the client and restarting usually clears it but not always, once or twice it's taken a few minutes to get through. Over the weekend was particularly bad, so much so that I started using the Captain's Table instead although strangely it started to ease up a little towards the evening (GMT) as it got a little busier, during the day it was fairly quiet and I was having the problem a lot more.

I have had a similiar issue but it usually only lasts for 4 mins, when it occurs. It occurs every once in a while and only with the ESD map. It also gets stuck at 96%

This happens to me about once a day. Try to beam into ESD and I get stuck zoning for 10 minutes. Or I'm zoning into a map and the game times out and boots me to login.

    Too much traffic on tribs?

Your connections and how fast your loacl network runs may hold the answer.
I have only a 45second to 1 minute wait when I go to ESD (which I do once every to see if my fed toon has died on loneliness)

That's the thing, usually I'm in within 10 seconds but every so often it just locks up and won't budge.

    Meh.

I think someone earlier mentioned that it may have something to do with the coding of dynamic lighting and high-detail objects on Tribble ESD, specifically in the transporter room, or something to that effect.

Some sort of perfect storm of the amount of toons on a Tribble ESD instance and some sort of coding issue with lighting and effects creates a huge spike that hits your GPU like the (allegedly recently fixed) one-shot Torp Spread.

If you're running a massive gaming rig with a high-end GPU what sucks out a few thousand watts and needs to be housed in a chassis of exotic materials and liquid cooled with Class 8 hazardous substances, you shouldn't feel a thing.

For those of us running a much less impressive rig, your best bet would to either close window and re-log in Safe Mode, or just switch off dynamic lighting and high-detail objects before beaming to Tribble ESD, then switch back after you've materialized.
