New Carrier pet contols lacking control (Bug?)

Been trying out the new AI pet controls for the Carriers and have been having some issues. On live I can do the following, Target enemy at 15k, launch pets, all pets attack same target. if I target someone new once the target is dead, ALL pets attack that target. This can happen even if greater than 15k away (I can understand if that was just unintentional).

On tribble I cannot seem to get my pets to focus on any 1 target no matter which command I use after the first target is dead.

Another issue is if my pets are deployed I cannot get them to 'attack' a target greater than 10k away from me (only exception is intercept but then targets are random).

My request (if possible) is to make 'attack command' force pets to attack current target. If I change targets and click attack command again, all pets should switch to new target. Also to allow pets to 'attack' (ie start moving twords) a target greater than 10k away.

Lastly while I dont know if this is intentional or a bug, if my pets are stuck in combat reguardless of how far away I am from them it places me 'in combat'.
This actually got me stuck in Kerrat<sp?> for a bit because one of my pets was stuck fighting a drone almost 20k away from me. :p

Any info on this would be appreciated :)

    as long as i've been using a carrier, when my pets are in battle it sticks you in red alert mode. i believe its because your still "coordinating their attacks"

    The pet commands are currently messed up. They work sometimes and not others.

    Last night I was having difficulty in recalling the pets using the incons. The escort icon didnt seem to work. Skull fighters were doing their own thing. So yes I believe Devs need to vist this bug.:(

    well i believe the pet commands have been in a fine tuning process ever since they were added. seems like almost every major patch since they added the commands have tweaked the system a bit.

    Not so, initally you'll be in red alert however as long as 'you' don't come under fire for 15 or so seconds (whatever it is) your red alert will drop while your pets are still attacking.
    On live the best way to see this is to 'back up' to an enemy 15k away and launch pets. then emergency impulse away. You'll then see that after 15 or so seconds you will drop red alert.

    Yep its a 'work in progress' I know. I'm just posting this for the same reason I posted about the pets not being buffed (before this patch). At that time the Dev's had put the code in but it 'dissapeared' on them.

    Never hurts to let the Dev's know something might not be working as they thought it is. :)

    so........ carriers have sci subsystem targeting (4) plus the hanger/s (1-2) plus the carrier commands (4). when do i get another skill row for all this? already have to use 34 skills and have 6 more that need a home.

    while your pets are in combat and you have a command toggled you will stay in red alert untill you toggle off the command and wait 15 sec

    I've been using my carrier on Tribble today and the pets are having some serious problems, after i first summon them they attack the first target fine but after that target is reduced to debris they just sit at my back and do nothing, none of the pet commands seem to make them do anything and the only way to have pets attack is to re summon them.

    I seem to remember that a similar thing happened with the carrier pets on holo a while back and i am wondering if that bug has resurfaced on tribble?

    the flight deck cruisers (orion line) dont have subsystem targeting. i know the Vo'Quv does, but have no idea if the Kar'fi does or not. as far as i know you can only have a max of 3 skill rows plus your bo slots.
