As I started gameplay today I thought this would be a good idea just to see where people stand with things. But here is my list of things from small annoying bugs to well larger issues.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ADD YOUR OWN TOP TEN
  1. The Beacon - Blinky blink Mail Icon
  2. Jumping Beans - Boff AI - from their "jumping bean" movment to "Hey watch where you are firing that!!!!"
  3. Gimmie Some Fish Food - grindy grindy purposeless exploration system
  4. Read my Lips - Dilithium tax in crafting
  5. aka - The Infinite Instance Generator - Travel- Zone- Load New Instance, Travel- Zone- Load new Instance, Travel-Zone-Load new Instance ad infinitum!!!!!
  6. Mass Genocide - Missions and accolades around slaughtering everything and everyone in site
  7. Where's Waldo - Social maps with no function or missions, way way too small, and too many instances
  8. Chain Reaction - Chained missions arcs and general lack of said mission arcs
  9. /facepalm - Where are the emote commands?? Oh yeah they are Cryptically buried (would be nice if they were on their own smaller toolbar
  10. Outa Phase? - Sterile ship interior, nice to see (albeit too spaceous) but nothing to do nor does my crew even recognize I walk, err run, by.

Boff's are now once again trained in CPR!!

Well, I brought some people in to try the game this weekend and we found a slew of things. Generally the ffirst few SWG friends in like the game because it is space and ground, but we did run into alot of bugs on Tribble.

So here is a list of bugs I think need to be fixed before F2P launch so at least people don't get the impression it is a buggy game.

Here were the most annoying to us while we played (I'll add more as we continue):
    1. The Void - Many times we warped into a mission as a group and for some members (usually just one at a time) no map would load, nothing at all. It would be a black void where there was nothing not even our groupmates. This happened at one time or another to all of us.
    2. The Shuffle - There are severe issues with team zoning, although we were in a team there were many instnances on defends and patrols we would still end up in different instances.
    3. Misfires Away! - This is the big one. I have never seen things this bad, but we have had pretty much every skill either misfire or not be responsive. In some cases there is also a UI bug where in our power tray the element for the specific number or key-bind (e.g. Alt-1) would disappear.
    4. 24 Tries to Beam Down - The Starbase 24 Fleet Action has been broken and incompletable for a while. Now think about the hoardes of F2Pers that you are expecting to jump in and start leveling. How frustrating is it that one of the misstions that they can get Dilithium from at lower levels is broken and incompletable. We did the space part once and moved on...
    5. Boff Heist!! - Since launch, if you obtain a boff from the exchange or from the mail you lose the ability to right-click and get a menu on any of your available Boffs, at least until you zone. This long standing bug does need to be squashed.
    6. Dwarf or Ugnaut - No, that was a Tellarite. Enuff said, please fix their height. We all understand they were short, but not that short. They do need an approximately 1/3 - 1/4 increase in their height. Even Memory Alpha says "On average, Tellarites are shorter than humans" but they were not dwarven.

As we see the dev cycle for the F2P beta grinding on I do see a lot of missed opportunities. Ones to add in more ways to obtain dilithium and ways to increase the repeatability of the content that is already there that is not being capitalized on. Some are repeats of my overall concerns fleshed out or more specified. Again, just my personal opinion (and trying to collate things I have said all over these boards), feel free again to add your own.
    1. Zeno’s Dichotomy Paradox - Maybe this isn't the best clever name for this but seriously, linear story progression has to go for a number of reason. From show stopping bugs, to incomplete campaigns, to a disorganization of mission progression (yes, you just can't stick in the FEs anywhere). Many have offered suggestions, I do like them opening up based on rank, but they do feel to me when I want to get to B'tran like the dichotomy paradox.
    2. Unrewarding Rewards - Enough said, rewards need to scale for all missions to your level. Not just because the NPCs scale, but for repeatability. If everything is going to have to be repeated over and over, well at least make it palatable option.
    3. Sector ad nauseum - Sector defenses, yeah there are issues there with high level repeatability and the impacts it has on lower levels. Sorry, there needs to be level gated instances and to make the more palatable for the grind they do need to award dilithium. What changing it so there is a daily like exploration for the first time and then for the replays a level appropriate reward?
    4. The Final Frontier (Lieterally) - We all know and agree exploration needs a revamp, a bad serious revamp. It is nice that there is a daily that reward dilithium (and this option can expanded on as above) but why the heck would we explore any more than once, why would we use the system? I will dare say not for gaining crafting resources anymore, so to increase the end-game repeatability the level appropriate item needs to return to the half-hour repeat missions. We used to get something each time we did it, we should still. The NPCs scale inside them, so should the final rewards.
    5. No Soup for You! - What was the purpose to removing a purpose for doing Aid Missions? Return the gift package!!
    6. Stymied - How long have you been saying you would make the transwarp gate to GO open once you hit admiral??? Please take a few moments out of your day and fix this for us. This is a compounding issue of forced mission progression for low level rewards...
    7. Paucity of Patrols - Here is where you can be creative and do like the Defri patrols and allow us to repeat sector patrols, with each having a few missions. Start with one or two sectors at a time and toss in a three alternates. Allow us to do one patrol as a daily, then have subsequent ones for either a level appropriate reward or perish the thought, level scaled rewards (it is nice to have options).Patrols are now getting some lovin'
    8. Same Old Crackers - I am a little upset alternatives were not explored to remove the dilithium tax in crafting. I think you really need to give us something to want to spend our dilithium on in game. Honestly, nothing you have is all that great (the difference from common to very rare really has little effect in PvE) which is why I suggested you add two new rarities. Add these to the crafting vendor for a dilithium tax and to the dilithium vendor. MMO players like new carrots to chase.
    9. Decaying Orbit - Please make sure all social areas have EC vendors selling all common gear, mail, exchanges, tailors, shipyards etc… This will be better for all of us so that ESD does not simply gain more mass and crash into the earth as it bursts with F2Pers.
    10. Foundry Starz - I think it is time to start having those Foundry Mission contests talked about ages ago, so long ago. There is a new thread that popped up on this and it may be a good way to award Foundry authors and help Cryptic “flesh out” some of the Fronts with “Story Driven Content” or even perhaps, the patrol missions for each sector I talked about above. All the missions would require is some polish with the devs tools.
