disconnects + crashes

Hi guys,

Been playing this game for serveral months now and still appreciate it. The game sometimes suddenly disconnects after about 1 hour of playing, without any apparent reason. After 2 or 3 disconnects, the game crashes. Being used to windows, I just reconnect and continue and upto rear admiral, it only caused a minor nuisance.

However, now that I have to do team missions, the harm increases, since sometimes you loose your entire team, which in the borg lands is not always appreciated ;). I have updated my local area network, which helped a bit, but still there are disconnects.

Any tips / hints or clues what could be the problem?

regards,

Boos

Try changing the proxy in the options menu in the launcher to US/EU depending on your location, it helped for me, cuts D/C's and crashes down a lot, still get the occasional one though

It seemed to help, but the problem still exists. I am afraid it has to do with my local ISP...
