    About ... 'blankety-blank'... time...

I was wondering when You were going to throw Us a bone here...

Of Course... this DOESN'T make up for the '(insert your choice of sexual innuendo here)' You are doing to Us on F2P TRIBBLE...

Just out of curiosity, is this just for Holodeck or is it on Tribble used with what we got with the last stipend as well?

Cool; thanks for the heads up, Stormy! I was expecting it to be like the last Halloween sale (only costumes) & went 'meh' because I have almost, if not all, of them, heh. On everything (except the Gelki pet), though, I might buy something.

I really ought to get my Klingon character to 51 so I can get the Siege Destroyer, since I don't expect another 50% off ships sale any time soon... (I would love to be proven wrong, though, Stormy, if you would like to do so. ;) )

Cryptic. Cryptic never changes. The end of consumer satisfaction happened pretty much as we expected.
Instead of something to do on Holodeck, we get a sale for the C-Store. Those of us who are not playing the game on Tribble, continued to be ignored. And those of us who blissfully payed to test Cryptic's F2P product, never understood the futility of it all...

So, basically, a chance to purchase slighty discounted Tier 5 ships before the "NEW" Higher priced ones show up from Tribble...

Great Fallout reference there. So, does that mean that Cryptic's the one the pushes the button that starts the war that destroys the planet?

On topic, while I admire the "gesture" (take your pick on what that gesture is) of a sale, I will not partake in it. My dwindling faith in Cryptic has led me to not want to support them until I see what happens with the F2P disaster.

    A) Nothing I will be willing to buy, as I have everything that isn't P2W.

    B) Will not be buying the Gekli, as it would require buying C-Store points (I'm down to 31), and I will not support this game financially so long as PWE P2W/grind philosophy is the guiding force in this games path, rather than the service-first philosophy Cryptic had before the PWE acquisition.

Stormy, can we, sometime in the near future, get some sort of in-game "recipt" to what we have already purchsed?
    Like:
"I wouldn't mind buying a new costume or two, but how many costume slots do I have, or have have purchased previously?"

Something showing everything we have purchased previously would be mighty helpful!

You know... It's funny you mention this. I was having a conversation with the EEPH just a few weeks ago regarding something like this. He sounded receptive to the idea, so, hopefully, it's something we'll see at some point in the future.

    Thanks,

    Stormshade

If they can figure out a way to charge you Dilithium for it it might come sooner than we think. :D

All else aside, Stormy, thanks for this. I know it''s been something that's been asked for a few times. It's good to hear that it's something being considered for some point.

I couldn't afford the VA ship I wanted til today--I was 65 points shy until the the 20% sale hit, and I just don't have the cash now. Thank you for the sale, Cryptic.

Too bad we won't have a good featured episode this year. I really enjoyed the spooky killer hologram episode we got last year.

I've got a couple of ships I'm going to buy so that I don't get hit with the upcoming dilithium requirements. It makes me feel a little dirty, though.

    Thanks, but no thanks.

I am currently Boycotting the C-Store until you finalize the T5 Excel Nerf. I mean why should I buy something when I can't trust that you might just take away explicit features later? Again, no thanks.

    :(

I refuse to buy C-Points ever again and my balance is very low.
    So...
No goodies until the stipend starts rolling in.

Besides, I don't see anything I want anyways...
A Gekli? cute but no thanks.

I'm really glad to see so many players standing up for the right reasons. However, I have a pretty large C-Points balance right now, and as crazy as it sounds, it might just be the best last chance to get VA ships for far less than what they are about to cost in F2P.

On the other hand, I could buy character slots to build an F2P dilithium mining army to ruin prices on the upcoming C-Store exchange... Just a thought.

And sorry for being in complete sarcasm mode. If you want to do something constructive, tell us at StoWiki if you want to see anonymous editing.

Thank you Cryptic, I've finally got me a Galaxay-X (Dreadnought Cruiser) and with my left over CP I've now got the Klingon Academy uniforms, Jupiter uniforms and the NX registry.

11 CP remaining, until the next sale. :)

I have heard a rumor that once F2P hits Live - Ship purchases will no longer be account wide? Is this true? :(

If so what happens to our purchases made before F2P?

I've heard that unless it is equipped we'll loose the ship - this concerns me as I don't equip all my C-Store ships on all of my characters once I have purchased them, but as only when I get to a point where I find a use for one.

If this is really true - why should I even bother making another C-Store purchase at all quite frankly?

ESPECIALLY in light of the unfair and underhanded Nerf done to the T5 Excel (I agree with the majority of posters boycotting the C-Store due to this)

    Thanks,
    Skywolf

This. Why should we buy items when there is a chance the reason we buy them will be taken away from us later on? What's my motivation here?
