Eng Team nerf?

Is this a bug or is it intended? My friend and I were playing together and discovered we could no longer use engineering team on each other.

Considering all the other nerfs and crazy changes I figured I'd come find out first if this is a bug or just another lame change.

    Gotta be a bug ..... would not make sense two nerf it.

    I can confirm Tactical Team is also non functional on other players. Since these two powers got new icons, hopefully it means it really is a bug. Nerfing these powers would be really sad.

    No, no, no, it still works. What you're seeing are the new effect graphics on you instead of on your target. Engineering Team still works as I was using it in STFs right after the patch today and still got the "7239" green floaty text above my target, and their hull points went up.

    I did try and cast Tac team on a teammate and saw the same thing: effect graphic on me. I didn't notice if my target actually got the effect, but it looked like it killed the borg boarding party.

    Yeah, just an fx bug. Hopefully they'll be on it soon.
