Server unresponsive: Can't play the game!

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
Hello!

So I've had STO for almost a year now and have been on the tribble test server for ftp for the past few weeks. About a week or two ago, my game connection stopped responding and I found it difficult to log on and when i did the server usually stopped responding after a few minutes. The issue seems to also be affecting my internet speed and other games (Battlefield). I've run anti-virus checks etc and nothing has come up. Any ideas?

Thanks

    Call your isp.
If you have a capped montly limit you may have gone over and are being throttled (if you have the oppertunity upgrade your plan to unlimted).

Try changing the proxy server to EU or US depending on where you are, it's in the options menu in the launcher this has worked for me so far, mind you I only did it about half an hour ago, I'll experiment more in the morning

I with the same problem of the post.

I can't connect to the server, I was playing the Tribble test server and then the game started to have a delay, then it crashed, and now I can't connect again.
    What can I do?

Had the same issue as OP, switched over to the US proxy and it seemed to fix the issue at that time. It has since cropped back up and is now so bad I am actually logging out just to force the connection to reset because it will not time out on its own (tested to 5+ minutes of 'Server not Responding')

The constant unresponsive server and lag reminds me a little too much of my days in the beta pre-launch.
