I do not have magical powers like the Nagus to create a poll. So, rather than disccus the pros and cons of dilithium, I wanted a simple yes or no question. If there is a sginificant number of single yes or no posts, then the answer will be overwhelming. If not, then it shows a divide in opinions. At some point, I will update the number of yes posts vs. no posts in the OP if enough people respond to this thread.
Edit: Just to add, if you are a lifer or subscriber, I am not talking about your stipend. The question pertains to buying points for a specific reason.
Rememer the rule. Yes or No posts only. (Edit: forget the rule, its impossible not to post an opinion on the forums I see )
Question: Do you plan to purchase C-points to trade for Dilithium?
This is pointless. If you play serious you will have to (therefore "yes") if you just download the game and try it "ooooh look at the pretty ship" you wont (therefore "no")....
Everyone with a stipend will (therefore "yes") unless they quit before bothering to spend it.
I will have an abundance of dili to sell to those who need it.
Pretty pointless poll. The entire reason of the new system is to help folks with no time but money and folks with time but little money. It's a seven year old proven model.

Well, I see no the "rule" I asked people to abide by has been hijacked. I can't resist but ask you for a source for the seven year old model.
Also, what about the "casual" group with little time and little money? Are items marked with dilithium really worth the potnetial c-store points traded?

I think that about sums it all up.

i plan to sell dilithium and i may trade a handful of points but probably not much.

The only thing I'm considering buying atm is the Bellerophon.
I may buy a DOFF bridge pack here or there, but I'll run the STF's for gear and grind, grind grind for the things I need.
I might throw my stipend out once in a while. But that's not likely to happen often.
I won't purchase dilithium with money or my stipend.
Ok, based on what you see is priced with dilithium right now, would you buy new c-points to trade for dilithium right now?
Found out why you can't just post "Yes" or "No" ... post must be 10 characters long.....
I am probably going to give it a shot...
But I have a sneaking suspicion that the whole thing is gonna go to Hell-in-a-hand-basket, a few days after it hits Holodeck.
There are going to be so many folks out there trying to work the system, that casual players like me are going to be unable to compete.
Only time will tell, but I don't have very much confidence in what I've heard about it so far.
Agreed, I think some player are going to treat it a little like Wall Street ......Investing..... Not a bad idea, but it could go horribly wrong....
Frankly, I'm not even playing the game right now. And if this atrocity of a f2p model actually hits holodeck, I never will again.
