I have been doing the quiz lore missions everyday now. And I have to say, it is getting tiresome running clear across the yard to take the quiz, then back across to collect the reward. All of which is after you run into the Academy to collect the data chip.
At first it didn't seem like a problem. But if its something you are going to do everyday, then it begins to seem pointless to run across the yard, just to take the quiz.
Can we take the quiz where we collect the data chip? It would make it so much easier to take the quiz daily, without getting burnt out on running thru SFA. Add in the new SFA Event, and I am sure everyone will be happy to have a little less running required to take the quiz. We get enough running thru SFA with the event.
With the SFA event, you can just stay at one spot.
And we really don't need to dumb down the game even more because people don't want to run across the zone to a console. Its better than having us go across Federation Space to get the answer and return.
I don't know how not wanting to run across a yard to take a quiz at a terminal that could be anywhere {so why not next to the area where you recieve the mission if not there period} is dumming it down. Or they can make it so you can recieve the mission reward in the mission journal like other missions.
I guess you like the idea of pointlessly running around. For someone who says they just sit in one spot in the SFA event, you of all people should be up for no running. I never said I minded running for particals in SFA, that has a purpose, you COULD just stand in one spot, but it is optimal to run between 3. What is optimal about running across SFA to take a quiz, and the back across to turn it in?

I agree, this serves no purpose except to waste more of the player's time.
If a change were being made to this, I would really prefer to have to run inside a building & find the right classroom for the particular quiz I'm about to take, before I take it. I agree running across campus to use a terminal which appears identical to a terminal standing next to the person who gave the mission seems a bit silly. Shouldn't I be able to take the quiz on my PADD? If not, I'd much rather have to go to a classroom for it.
considering there's a computer next to the Quest giver that looks EXACTLY like the one you take the test on, i dont see why that one cant be "re-purposed" for test giving. or stop teasing us and remove the computer next to the quest giver.
I agree with this. It's totally pointless to have to run across the yard.
Same goes for the KDF side. It was great and really convenient when you got the mission in Qu'nos. Now that it's in the Klingon Academy, it is just more tedious.
The game's far too tedious as it is, and this is one simple step that can be taken to mitigate some of that.

Okay, for a minute there, I thought I was the only one that felt this way.
I too find it kind of strange to have to get the mission, run across campus to a terminal, and then run back across campus.
Maybe it is just the academy's physical fitness program? If so, I'd just prefer to have the terminal next to the mission giver and maybe have a fatter toon.

Maybe they could make us golf carts for our toons to ride across the yard to the other side hehehehehe
