Storyline Prisoners turning into Doffs?

So I was playing with my friend and we captured Taris the Prator and it occured to us prisoners we capture in certain episodes would make great Blue and Purple Prisoner doffs. I mean Surely Taris is worth somethinhg and we never hear from her again thus far.

Also it'd be fun to get other doffs from episodes like rescuing Miral Paris and get a Miral Doff or helping Ambassador Worf and getting a purple Worf Diplomat doff with warrior traits

    There are many lost opportunities to incorporate mission characters and elements into actual gameplay to make STO feel more alive. Why can't we spend our own latinum to help the Romulan miners in the FE Mine Enemy? Why doesn't one of the Klingons we free in The Cure STF offer to be a BOff (very rare, of course)? And why don't we take more prisoners in general gameplay, some of which turn out to be little more than prisoners to begin with and are happy to side with their liberators as DOff's or BOffs? Hopefully STO will begin adding these kind of "ambiance" game elements in the future.
