New consoles without console slots

Some ships are getting their special abilities converted into consoles, but at the same time they gain additional console slot. Yet there are exceptions, such as the Excelsior or Marauder, which will get a new console, but the amount of slots will stay the same.

Now, I just wanted to be sure, but from the technical standpoint how exactly such transition will look like if I already have the ship purchased and fully equpied? Where will the console appeear after the changes? In my inventory? Bank?

I won't be able to reclaim my ships again as I purchased them via Emblems/Marks. Thus I'd like to know if there's any "danger" of losing anything by accident.

i think they said it goes into your inventory, or if thats full, an overflow bag.

you should not lose anything unless you actively discharge it.

Thanks, I just wanted to be sure.

Out of curiosity, what's the overflow bag? Or rather, how does it work exactly?

I didn't get one for my Excelsior refit when I transferred my character, and the console slots were full. I only got one for the T3 Excelsior.

Now I'm curious if thats been fixed or being fixed...
