We need a "ships feedback subforum"

Several new ships have been released on the F2P Tribble build - unfortunately there is no dedicated thread or forum for these ships. I imagine that it would be difficult to sort through all the feedback from Cryptic's side, and it is also difficult for players to find the right spot for their thread.

So please create a ship feedback forum. There are so many things that can be wrong on these ships - mechanical issues, balance issues, artwork issues and so on. It would be good to have one dedicated place to put it all in there.

    i agree,

i would also hope they re-release these to redshirt as each one is near to going live to give people a chance to widscale test them. if kind of worried that throwing 10 ships at us, and forcing people to buy them will mean some ships just dont get tested enough.

there are numerous problems with the ships consoles and how they work in the tailor. i hope this is all being picked up.

Yes please, it would help ot keep track of the feedback others give far more easily
I currently don't have time to test the ships but I'd like to know what's going on.

I find the Aceton Assimilator console to be too weak to be effective in anything but fighting pakled escorts.

I suppose it really depends upon the timetable for release of these C-store starships doesn't it? If any are expected to hit Holodeck prior to f2p, we really should test them on Redshirt. If not until after f2p, maybe our testing them under f2p acquisition method is intentional?

At a minimum, Q/A should have started a thread per ship in the Tribble C-store forum. We are discussing a few of these ships there on our own. Granted we don't have the experimental starship console that we are used to on Redshirt, but we can test the ones which caught our eye first.

i could swear the thunderchild i tryed out on redshirt had more detail, the tribble version seems to be missing the visual torpedo launcher graphics and the little cannon firing mounts the red shirt version had.

Is it possible your video resolution settings are different from one server to the other?

no, there are clear differences. in the picture you can see longish phaser arrays, on tribble they are tiny. and on the rim of the saucer you can see little cannon outcroppings, on tribble they are just the little red and black pimples. those aren't just lower video setting issues, those are model differences
